Posted - 2010.02.03 16:21:00 - [31] My my, fancy seeing you here, Vrabac :P Didn't think I'd end up ever talking with you except with a blaster round ^^ As a long-time Covert Proteus pilot (got one not that long after T3 came out) I've pretty much come to the same conclusions - it just isn't that good, considering the price. I've had some success with it, but nothing an Arazu couldn't do better. When I compare it with a pure gunboat (played around with those on Sisi) which is capable of taking on an Absolution and winning, it's just... meh. Not taken it out of the hangar much for a while, and have been considering either selling or refitting it. Your take on the Legion is interesting, though. I've toyed with Legion fits in the past and never been terribly impressed, but I might have to take another look. The main draw of the PvP Legion for me has been the instalock variant, but those are a bit of a one-trick pony - though a nice one for gang work.
