Sakura Yoshida	Posted - 2004.11.24 21:28:00 - [1] hiyo all, i was just wondering if anyone could help with my problem, i've logged into exodus about 3 times with no problems, and it's been running almost perfectly, but now, when i try to log in, it gets to the character selection screen, and for some reason, there's no characters there, but it's more like it's loading the characters, than if they had disappeared, because it wont let me do anything, i left it to load for about half an hour, but nothing came up. and i cant figure out what's wrong :(, could anyone please help me? thanks a lot, seeya

Sakura Yoshida	Posted - 2004.11.24 21:50:00 - [3] i've reset my computer three times, opened and closed eve a couple of dozen times... i just cant get my character to appear.. i really really hope the character hasnt been deleted, but if that's happened, i dont know why, just before, i was fighting some rogue drones, and then the computer reset, when i came back, i couldnt get my character, i really dont know what's going on... please, can anyone help me out? thankyou, bye I like drawing www.technoweyr.co.uk/~stush :D

BigDave	Posted - 2004.11.25 02:54:00 - [15] Strangely, I only have this problem with my main -- I tried logging as an alt (same account, same client) and had no trouble. :/ Of course that does me no good really....

Seems to be a System-oriented problem, a lot of the people having this problem are in the same systems.. I petitioned from an alt but as it's near 3am it's no surprise I've had no response after 20mins.. My character isn't training a skill at the moment, just to rub it in ___________ ~Fredbob~

Ackath	Posted - 2004.11.25 21:18:00 - [23] I think I traced the problem on getting stuck on entering character selection to DNS issues. Now the characters wont load unless the news loads and for those having dns issues manifested for instance by the ingame browser not working properly, the news wont load. Devs pls make the news load separately
