I had the foresight to download the patch ahead of time to avoid the huge download rush. I seem to be suffering because of the stupid. Logging in is almost impossible (getting stuck at the "entering game as" screen).
I do feel that I and others should be compensated for this lack of forethought with 1 or 2 days being refunded, depending on how long the problem continues.
just my opinion... (103 meg using a 56k modem..dumb dumb dumb)

Yesterday I was "the only one with a problem", I was told I was every kind of stupid.
Today I'm in the majority. :-D
They could have spent that 2 days income on bandwidth and you'd all be in the game right now.

I still think anyone that didn't download the game yesterday are stupid.
Probably one of the reasons for the 24 hour downtime is that CCP thought that as we are intellegent people we would download on the day eve was down...I guess they overestmated the pirates :P
Take comfort in knowing that its probably some pimply faced twit, or 40 year old virgin, who gleens everytime mommy offfers to take them to needle point lessons |

Certainly please send ccp 30 USD for the expansion and i am sure they would love to rebate you the 1 USD for the time that you have been unable to play.
