So I picked up a cynabal and went with this fit:
[Cynabal, New Setup 1] Republic Fleet Tracking Enhancer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Damage Control II
Corelum C-Type 10MN MicroWarpdrive True Sansha Warp Disruptor Invulnerability Field II Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II
425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I Medium Polycarbon Engine Housing I Medium Polycarbon Engine Housing I
Warrior II x5 Hornet EC-300 x5
I was wanting some feedback from other cynabal pilots and also their thoughts on the 3xlse or 2xlse and 1 invuln. aparently the 2xlse and 1 invuln gives slightly more ehp. But what have people found? more hit points or better resist?

Better resists will result in better survivability over time.

If you want 3 tank mods in your mids, then 2 lse and 1 invuln. I'd rather use 1 lse 1 invuln, and have a web/scram for any frigs that get a scram on you. _________ My name is Pater! |

Do u really fly it with just over 6k of shield from flying vaga's i find a medium neut and 5 warriors is more then enough to either kill them or kill their cap enough for me to warp.

its a fail fit on an cynabal. The power of this ship is speed + damage. you need to keep the speed up @ all times.. one tech 1 frig with scram can tackle u long enough to have cruiser sized ships lock u and take it over. .
i would suggest you use faction ab and mwd.. that way when u get a scram u can still get out of range..
i also suggest u take ecm drones.. www.garia.net |

GTFO situation: medium neut, med ecm drones, 220s, tracking juice. Lost a ship yesterday to a locust of frigs, learned the lesson thx.

Edited by: Smabs on 08/02/2010 08:43:09 Aside from what everyone else is saying I think you might've put a bit much faction on it. It's a 170 mil hull so it's not that much more expensive than a HAC. I mean, those republic fleet gyros are 65 mil each, so you can basically build a new cynabal and fit it out for the price of your low slots.

Haha yeh dude.
Its fine you may just find that you have cap issues sometimes in extended fights with the invul But its fine.
You can stay out of point range of ur targets with the logn range point and barrage hell even with high damage ammo so its great.

It's up to you, but your fit seems too expansive. After HAC price changes, with 50-60m more you can pick a cynabal instead of a vaga, so they lost their elite class for me.
**** happens, whatever you fit on your ship, on a bad situation it will die, so my advice will be avoiding faction/plex fit on cynabal. More than it's hit on wallet, i rather not give juicy killmails and good drops to my adversaries...
I fly with a similiar setup, but instead dcii i use a nanoii, and instead polys , field def extenders.

Thanks for the comments, I was watching Prozacxx's 'Teh Batmobiles' and after studying it he seems so use 3xlse 2 gyro 2 te 1 nano, and prity much the same amount of faction. Although he is blatantly using a claymore alt also.
I think ill try the various setups, although im not sure about the duel prop i cant really see a situation where its gunna save ya, if ya get frig blobed your screwed anyway really, on my ranis i use them as the extra trans is often a life saver but the cynabal is not that kinda ship.

Im only using lg snakes in that movie. No claymores included.
Even that invu will look better on eft, it creates some cap issues. So I prefer using 3 LSEs for less cap useage in prolonged engagements. And for faction, a faction point will GREATLY enhance the ships ability to take advatage of the massive falloff it gets with 425s and 2 TEs. But as always, its up to taste and wallet to decide how much faction you want to spend on a ship.

Ah ok, saw u always had 1 guy in fleet so assumed an unprobable claymore. My initial fit had the 3lse also. gunna have a play with a corpie tonight but i can see the benefits of the 2xte, its what i have on the vaga and it is prity damn good.
do u find the lg snake worth it? ive been considering getting some, what with flying vagas & inties; training amarr right now so nano curse also in a few months.

LG snakes are worth it, if you fly nanoed ships a lot. I got my lgs pretty cheap so keep an eye out for bargains.
