So I logged in the other day after work, and find out that a one man corp had put up a small pos in one of our systems. We checked who was online, and there were only three of us on in the corp. We got into battleships and fly out there and start bashing this "hostile" pos.
After about 10 minutes, the owner warps up and gets caught in our bubble, we blow him up and pod him back to k-space. About thirty minutes later, he shows up again, and manages to make it inside the shields.(pos bashing is boring) By this point, we have it at about 50% shields and can't get it any lower.
He then opens a convo with one of my corpmates, and proceeds to ask us to stop shooting his pos. He is told to take it down or get it blown up. (Keep in mind the three battleships that were there were the only people online in the corp at the time.)
He pleads with us to let him take it down in peace, and offers us 70 million isk to let him keep it there til he can haul it out, but we decline. Eventually he offered a Navy Caracal for us to haul it out to highsec and contract it to him. We agree and figure the navy caracal is worth a good bit , and honor our word. we scooped his pos into an itty V, and fly it out, and there's a navy caracal waiting in contracts.
Long story short, ransomed a small pos for a navy caracal, good deal? (we were debating at great length whether to keep them both, and we ended up keeping all his pos fuel.)

I'm thinking their alliance. They spam corporations with newby ally requests promising military and economic support (in whs of all places!). When we see Revival Of The Talocan Empire, we see fail... consistently.

I can't speak for my alliance, but our corp doesn't do that sort of thing.
However this subject has nothing to do with the contents of my original post, so troll elsewhere.

massive fail in that you gave him the tower.
Should have just kept it.

you handled the situation poorly, and now your corp and alliance looks even worse off (which is quite a feat given how horrible your corp name is). i foresee a failed future in the horizon. thanks for posting.
