<whine> So my manufacturing character is just two story lines away from the sweet... sweet bliss of his very own HiSec R&D POS. Then the next story line takes me to lowsec. No biggee, it's a transport mission, just a couple of jumps. So I grab an empty-headed clone, slap on some warp stabilizers. One small camp, whose tackler had just one warp disrupter, I get away... one to go.
Next storyline, dammit another low-sec mission. This one's a shooter and its.... double damn thru 0.0 and back up a dozen low-sec jumps into a region I've never been to. I'll have to train another level of diplomacy just to keep from getting shot at on the way. Oh joy. let's look the thing up to see what I'll need to fly... "Mining Base Camp - Kaalakiota Corporation" and nothing... zip... nada. I look at the mission description and after warning me to fit a PvP boat its says, " Once you get to the site itself, though, you shouldnÆt receive very much resistance. The megacorporations arenÆt exactly known for the might of their security forces. " So I'm thinking maybe there is hope, I could try a speed tank in a cruiser, maybe even a frigate when I notice right below it a warning in red saying, " I would highly recommend that you bring friends along for this mission. Not only will you be flying to lowsec, but the odds of your being overwhelmed are high." Can you say... mixed messages?
So, win or lose I have to waste time training enough diplomacy to get there, take a standing hit with Caldari of unknown size, fight who knows what while my tidy whiteys are hanging in the breeze for anyone who wants an easy kill, after which I'd just as soon suicide jump my way back... all for the same standing gain I could have got from my old fed navy agent by purchasing him bit of omber. Or give up and do sixteen more missions (sigh) </end whine>
I guess what I really want to know is if anybody has ever heard of this Mining Base Camp - Kaalakiota Corporation mission, and if so, what did you fly to win it?

Mining Base Camp - Kaalakiota Corporation Tips
Use a passive Drake, or any other BC. I did it solo. Orcas take forever. PVP fun as well.

Thanks for the limited info, despite the snark (I did google it, I just used googleÆs custom search for eveà which appears to be fail.) Leastways a thread about people whining about it is better than nothing, and from your post it appears I have to grind down some NPC OrcaÆs so a really small boat wonÆt do. I do have that empty headed clone and an old drake so I suppose IÆll try it sometime next week.

...or alternatively you just not do it? Letting hte Storyline offer expire won't give you a standings hit and you can then wait for the next one. Removed. Please keep your EVE signature related to your EVE persona and not that of a real life politician. Navigator |

Wait, these missions are Gallente only?
Excuse me while I go swear a lot.
Then look at moving all my assets to Minmatar space...

I can¦t help to notice the sarcasm your agent is feeding you. I¦d have that agent beheaded right away. |
