I was playing my character warping thru 5 jumps and had the message in box saying " entering space" and just sat there, I pressed escape to get rid of box and all i saw were stars no ship like entering a space station after ship goes in but you still outside in stars.
I reset pc deleted cache - now EVERYTIME i try and log in with that character its a black screen and just sits there - if i press escape and go into options and say - make window not full screen - I can get up the side menu and chat screen and can operate the menu systems but cannot do anything else the rest of the screen is all black.
I am hoping it may fix it self after server rest tonight but thats nexr 20 hours away.
any suggestions on how to fix this, I only started the charcter 2 days ago but he has a rifter and its nicley decked out about 400k worth so i dont want to delete him but will if no other way.
My concern is what happens if this happens again 6 months from now do I delete again??

Well, it doesnt really seem the GMs are interested in helping us out here, perhaps trey are busy trying to sell some more Eve licenses, since chances are the userbase will be cut in half due to all these bugs/crashes happening lately..

Apparently the chars are stuck.. you need to petition ingame to get a GM to "unstuck" em, or wait till the daily patch finishes.

Does the Patition system work, I can't use it, the game crashes. This stuck Characters and constant crashes due to connection failure is something to work on at CCP. I live about 50 km from them and yet it's like this.

Well Ive got the hump now because its happening to me too. I cant log in at all , select my character and BLACK SCREEN
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Same for me too.
I created another character and sent a petition 2 hours ago, but nothing has been fixed.
I left AC2 because of poor customer service. I really hope they get their act together and provide support worthy of the 12:95 per month they are charging.

This is the first MMORPG I have ever paid money to subscribe too so I also hope I get my moneys worth.
I would have at least expected a notification that they are aware of a problem ? Sad as it is my whole night is kinda ruined and no one will even acknowledge a problem So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Ive just been told by my housemate that apparently earlier a message came out sayin Emrayur 3 Royal Amaarr Institue school is to be avoided at all costs as people are 'losing' their characters there ....Im pretty sure thats where i was when it crashed.
My housemate can log on with his character and I cannot ....I'm SO angry because this message never popped up on my screen. In fact Im fuming !! So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.
