Hi all,
I represent a corp who own their own alliance that are looking to grow beyond what we currently are - an industrial corp and alliance.
So we are looking to build up our corp and alliance's combat wing in order to open up opportunities to us that we don't currently have.
 "Oh god, here we go - carebears who are wannabe PvPers" 
Well, perhaps.
But perhaps not.
A number of our corp's leadership are, like myself, former low-sec and 0.0 residents who have looked to change the pace of their game play for RL reasons.
But we have never forgotten the value of combat in this game.
And now we are looking for like-minded souls to join our ranks.
 "So what are you looking for? Why do I have to be 'Special'?"
Well, when we say special we have 3 types of pilot in mind:-
1) Combat pilots who are perhaps fed up of the constant lagfests that is 0.0 combat these days. Or CTAs and alarm clock ops from an alliance's leadership who seem to think the game is more important than real life. Pilots who still want to fight when the call comes but are fed up of being burnt out by an alliance that is run by a leadership that sees you simply as an asset to use or as cannon fodder. That and you may simply want days where you can chill with corp mates and make ISK.
2) Maybe you're that rarest of pilots - a TRUE warrior-industrialist. Someone who is happy to mine or mission run when it's peacetime but is happy - even eager - to put down their pick axe and pick up their guns when war time inevitably comes and who can fight. And fight well.
3) You might be the pilot who knows that even the most hard core fighters need an industrial base to support it if it is to survive long term. Well, we've spent nearly a year building up our industrial operations in order to support what we are now looking for. An effective combat wing.
"OK, let's assume you have me interested - just how am I going to get regular combat in an industrial alliance? Huh? Huh?"
Good question. I can answer that 2 ways. Firstly, this *is* EVE - the only way you can avoid combat is to stay docked or stay in an NPC Corp. There are always those idiot griefers out there who will war dec industrial corps because they're after easy kills. We've seen our share of those.
Secondly, we may be industrial but we also have few rules. As long as you don't grief in high sec or cause aggravation in low sec where we have interests you're free to go look for combat. Just form up a gang and go have fun! 
"Ok, Ok - sounds acceptable so far but I couldn't help but notice you have an issue with griefers. What's the deal there?"
Simple. While the griefers like to portray themselves as "bad bois" because they can make miners, etc complain on the forums about their actions I see them in another light entirely. Griefers are EVE's equivalent of playground bullies. All big and tough and free with the smack when they're suicide ganking afk haulers and miners or shooting noobz and baiting and can flipping pilots who can't shoot back to get an easy kill. But, like all bullies, there's one thing you can rely on. When they come up against someone who *can* fight back they're the first ones back in station - if they haven't already done a logoffski. We ain't interested in pilots like that. We'll fight outnumbered if we have to and that's the calibre of pilot we're looking for. A comrade you can rely on in a tight situation.
