I was happily doing level 3 missions in Amarr space but had to move to a new part of town to be closer to my Corp. Over here no level 3 agents will talk to me so I've had to start back at the bottom with level 1s.
A few questions:
(1) Other then doing level 1 missions, and training the connections skill, are there any other ways to get my standing up high enough to get level 3s again?
(2) Will level 2 missions boost my standing faster then level 1s?
(3) Can anyone estimate how many of these lame level 1 missions I need to do before I can do level 3s again?

1) yes, have someone with high enough standing do missiosn with you and share the mish rewards (this includes standings witht that agent which go up much faster than corp standings)
2) yes
3) level 1 missions seemed to only get you .01-.05 ish standing with teh corp each time...so about 20 of them should sit you into a lvl 2 mission.
if you didn't change corps you are running missions for the ability to use agents shouldn't have changed...?
If it did you should search for an agent with your old NPC corp that is within a couple jumps and just run those missions for a while. And the overall increase with the faction will eventually get high enough you can run level 3s with any corp.
Only reasons (i can think of) to change is if your corp is trying to raise standings with that corp for things like jump clones or different LP rewards that you want.

Ok so the lev3 I want to do missions with is in the region called "Verge Vendor". You're saying if I do missions with my old npc corp inside Verge Vendor... all the level 3 agents will start opening? Any additional info would be appreciated.

the region doesn't matter, standings have several levels:
character
corp
faction
each of these levels increase with a mission, your standing with a character will increase more than with the corp, and the corp will increase more than the faction.
To do missions with an agent you only have to have teh required standing in one of the levels. So if you have a low qual lvl 3 agent that requires a standing of 3 for example, you can either raise your standing with the character to 3, with the corp to 3, or with the faction to 3.
So if you run missions with gallente navy for example. it will slowly raise your standing with gallente faction. but more quickly with the gallente navy. So when you have a standing of ~7 with the corp you might only have a standing of 2.5 with the faction. When that faction standing hits what is required for an agent in another corp you can use that agent even if your standing with that corp is 0. Plus in the mean time you were doing missions where the LP was stacking with your previous LP earnings, and you aren't grinding level 1s.
The best way to do this though (imo) is to get someone in your corp that runs missiosn for that level 3 agent, and have him share teh mission rewards until you have high enough standing. It really shouldn't take long at all (like maybe 3 hours depending on how long it takes yall to do missions). Assuming that there is an LP reward you want from the new corp as well.
