First thing's first, I love EVE. I have begun to make headway in industry and combat, and I definitely don't want to stop playing in any kind of near to far future. I have paid for 60 days on my account with a GTC, and I might have the money to do one more. Might. My original plan was to make enough isk each month to PLEX my account, effectively playing without paying.
Since I am just beginning to get good at industry, and am not making much close to 10 mil a day (what I'd need to make to have 300mil in a month for PLEX), and I am beginning to get concerned that in the event that I need to PLEX on this GTC instead of being able to pay for one more, I will not have the isk. Getting places in Industry costs a lot, it makes you money later. I thought the other day while making a contract of a loan. To my knowledge (as my corp members do), making isk once you really get started is amazingly simple, and many people can PLEX 4 accounts and still have money to spread over all of them.
My idea is that if I get to a point (for whatever reason) that I can't pay for time with isk or RL money, someone could loan me he extra isk I need, to be paid back within that month. Would this work? Would it be legal? Would there be anyone willing to place that trust in someone?
Thanks for your responses, means something to me =D

As long as you're not providing collateral on the loan no one will accept.
Futher to that you don't seem to be offering any kind of reward to the person giving the loan.
Basically theres a -5% chance of this happening unless you have collateral equal or greater then the loan.

Of course! I forgot to mention reward =P
If money becomes as easy to make as is evident in my corporation members, and this ends up happening, the person loaning can expect a lot of interest for the incredible favour he or she has done for me. Also life-time friend rights, hehe. Also, it would mean to me that I am somewhat in their debt, and so I would become available for help with hauling, mission running or whatever they need that I have the skills to do (for a limited time, of course, not forever).
Of course I am mainly asking here at the moment to see if there would be a person or group of people who would be willing. With however many days left on this GTC (probably most of the days I paid for to be honest) and the slight possibility of being able to get another one, it might not even need to happen ever at all. I just want to know if there is that fallback for me.

So you can't afford a plex...but you can afford to pay someone back for buying you one? Explain. And if you are planning on paying them back "later" then how the hell do you plan on getting the next plex? Either a scam or you didn't think this through very well.

I might not be able to afford a plex...and if I cannot at the time, then it means I am not yet at the point where money is rolling in. But given how long I have, I will be very close to it. Paying back plus new plex for myself afterwards would be doable, over time.
I'm not trying to scam anything here - I'm just asking after all. I haven't said this is definitely going to need to happen have I? If it was a scam, I might try to be a little more intelligent about the whole thing.

I hear you, but tbh there is no way in hell anyone will do this for you. And I have seem much much stupider scams.
