What is the sensor strength needed to find all sites and other WH's in a WH? I can get up to 66 in this cane with my current skills. I can get it up to 71 if I train rangefinding and pinpointing to 4. Is that good enough? If not I can get in a covops, but I loose a lot of utility. Besides above comment, I dont like this ship being split between salvaging and scanning. If you insist on fitting the battlecruiser with salvage gear or mining lasers, please at least buy one of the cheapo scout frigates and put the cloak, probe launcher and related rigs on there.

So im stuck, using one ship for all my needs. The quesiton remains, can I probe effectivley in this cane, or do I needed a dedicated covops?

Yes, you can scan with your build.... it will be a little tougher than if you had a scout ship, but all you need is to be able to find the way out if you get stuck.....with good enough skills and practice scanning you should be o.k. (worry about the scout ship more when you need fast scanning or need to lock down combat targets)

You can easily get the benefits from your cane and a cov ops at once.
