Hey guys ;D I just did a Shadow Serpentis Fleet Staging Point, and it escalated.
I did it once before and I think I walked away with a Core A-Type Armor Explosive Hardener. Well I did it this time and walked away with a Vindicator BPC, a 22nd Tier and a Core A-Type Armor EM Hardener.
Not too shabby! Has anybody else had any good experience with faux 9/10 or 10/10s?

Why in the world you would ever post in public about a good drop you have possesion of , or a good site that might cause competition to pop up ?
If your just stupid I'll let you slide , but thats about the only good reason I can think of

Because not posting about it isn't going to stop others from attempting it anyway.
That's like saying that you just found a good job posting on the internet, and you want the job so you think if you don't tell anybody about it you'll have a better chance of getting the job.

Your the guy that found that job , and then posted it to everyone else on the internet . And when 100 people got there before you , you never had a clue why you didnt get the job. And if the job ever comes up again , it wont pay as much , because 100 people have worked it for less and less.
I guess *stupid* covers it just fine then . Good luck (you need it) and....keep posting

Out curiousity, what did you run the 10/10 with? I'm guessing passive Ishtar with a RR BS or two, but...

Damn you!!! I've done it twice and only come away with the 22nd overseer's effects both times. All the way to the stage 3 escalation (which popped in like 5 minutes, fighter bombers for teh win!!!) I think maybe there was a bit of serpentis lewt somewhere in there.
Just goes to show how random these things are. I love them, regardless of how unlucky I am. The sense of anticipation when new spawns show or cans drop is almost as fun as waiting for an even sized gang to jump into you for a gf (and in today's world of blob warfare that doesn't happen much)
But more info on these things would be awesome |

Well Crest, the whole way up all I was getting were Shadow Gold Tags and ammo. Not a single faction item.
For this plex I was using a passive shield Ishtar with no support. I soloed the entire plex. The final boss took about 2 1/2 hours to knock down with a 2 250s and 5 Ogre IIs. Most boring thing ever.
Anyway, luck happened and Vindicator BPC literally had my eyes bulge. I was expecting MAYBE another Hardener and was crossing my fingers for an A-Type EANM, but this was good, lol. ;3

That sort of anticipation was why me and a mate used to go Officer spawn hunting deep into hostile 0.0 regions - aside from some PvP, there was nothing quite the same as hearing our hysterical screaming over Ventrilo or the weeks spent possibly alienating ourselves from the rest of the corporation with our near paranoid level of operational secrecy.

Since Dominion was implemented for BPC's I have got 2 Cyanabals, 3 Rattlesnakes, 4 Gilas, and a couple others I forget already. Did the Guristas version of the Fleet Staging, got the effects, Rattlesnake BPC, and a A-type Shield Heat amp.
CCP stated the BPC faction drop rates were increase quite a bit and this holds true from my experience. The loot drops have been about the same I guess as before.

True... the moment when you are approaching the can or wreck of that dread guristas / overseer ship or that end structure you just popped, and you click "open cargo", and hoping this time something resembles an invulnerability field or a nice blue piece of paper
(normally you may be lucky with some shield amplifier or co-processor of course, because it is also normal to only get some effects and ammo for the trouble, but the possibility of hitting the jackpot is what's appealing about this whole exploration thing... like why many people take part in a lottery).
btw, the fun starts when hitting an Unknown signature and you have to 'zoom in' to see if it's another crappy wormhole or the "possible big lewtz this time" plex you were looking for
