Trying to make up my mind on which to fly and train for, and get tech2 guns for and all. I enjoy flying the thorax alot, but i also really like amarr tanking in general. I'd love to get my hands on a deimos though...but i'm not sure about the brutix. I havn't flown a Maller, going to try one out tomorrow. What are your opinions? Pros/Cons?

if you like tank more then damage go amarr
if damage more then tank then go gallente..

if you like tank more then damage go amarr
if damage more then tank then go gallente..

I was planning on going for the diemos...but im gonna try both the prophecy and brutix and see which one i like most :)
btw prophecy is great fun

There are 2 approaches to fighting in Eve.
1) I'm going to die less slowly than you do = Tanking = Amarr
2) Omgiamthekickfoomasteruberdamagegawd = Damage = Gallente
Ghey boy Tanking or Extreme Damage Dealing.
Your choice.

Armor tanking and big grids is the way to go now. Gallente has sheer damage output but that is neutralized by low power grids and short ranges. Their ability to fight short range is impared by the fact they're not that tough to soak damage before they get close. Also lasers currently hss the best balance of damage, ROF and tracking than any other weapon.
