This whole nerf lvl 4 income is a waste of time. I do hope yall realize this. How many accounts do you think will be canceled if lvl 4 missions are nerfed. I currently run 4 accounts - I can tell you right now if lvl 4 missions are moved to pirate alley (low sec) or if the income is nerfed all that will happen is 3 of my accounts will be canceled. I know many people that run multiple accounts that are supported off level 4 mission income.
Loss of income not for players - but for CCP. So in all honesty to you really think this would ever happen?
Just fyi - all this 60 mil an hour numbers are total BS. This isn't even anywhere near the norm. Not even close.

So what is?
On average I do about 12mil an hour. I can do the same mining, or running missions, or belt ratting in null space.
I am certain if I spent 2bil on a mission ship I could kick that up.

Originally by: Baldie Blad It all comes down to the fact that missions generally for people who don't want to interact with other players (in the combat sense). Missions are the single player or 'campaign' part of EVE and they should stay that way.
True enough, but that just raises the questions: why are they playing a PvP-centric multiplayer game, and what's their purpose for running missions to begin with? If they don't want to interact with others, they have roughly zero need for the ISK, so they shouldn't care if the L4 rewards were reduced to make other activities more useful.
Because there is no other game out there like EvE. Because some folks - and looking at the hard numbers in high sec vs null space - most people play this game to not PVP. Deal with it.
Again - this whole argument is pointless - Nerf missions - then you nerf CCPs income and the number of active accounts. Period. Anything beyond that is not worth talking about.

You're doing belt ratting wrong. I used to make that much on bounties belt ratting in a T1 gunned Hurricane.
Funny enough that is usually use myself. I can use all T2 - but I use the bottom of the line garbage because 9/10 I will lose in PVP anyways. being in my own corp = I am going to die anyways in null space. I just try to sneak in and then earn as much as I can before I die to the blob.
