Talk about taking a game too seriously. You're basically asking the OP to play the game like a second job. That's basic pvp knowledge that prevents you from getting pwned in a war dec. As someone else pointed out it's just easier to stay in an NPC corp. Your in a war dec, it's pragmatic to stay in one bloody system so that your team mates can help you. If you have 20 and they have one or two, you can take em out. Your in empire, having a noob in a rookie ship off a gate, means you can get intel and they can't shoot you. Be on coms, means in a war dec, if you yell for help, your team mates can hear you, goes back to being in one system. Not much can be done if your 20 jumps away. Locator agents tell you where they are. They will use them on you, why don't you do the same? Other pvp corps will run you through battleclinic and post people up for you to put in your addy book. I don't know about others, but I don't particularly enjoy loosing, especially if I outnumber the enemy and with half a brain and some will we can take that enemy on. It doesn't take much more ability to do this then it does to keep an eye on can flippers and do a large scale mining op. Oh and for the record, I'm an Indy person. That doesn't mean I won't fight. Are you being dense on purpose? To shake off a griefer corp an industrial corp has to either get someone to fight for them or learn to fight for themselves. If this forces them to use vent will then yehaa it is about time. Learning to fight involves a lot of things and the list is a lot longer than your one but so what? It is fun not a job, it is a challenge not a chore. If you can't stand the demands of learning to fight then you really should develop a pvp wing and spend some of your hard earnt isk supporting them. Yes you can just be an industrialist/mission runner etc but if you want out of an npc corp you should be prepared to pay for your defence one way or another.
