As an example ...
Why if there is a direct Stargate between Akhragan (Mobit/Domain) & Emrayur (Arvachah/Tash-Murkon) does the Autopilot, correctly configured of course, insist that the route involves 5 jumps

Wasn't it 5 jumps apart before they reconfigured the highways?

Hmm, that might explain why buying something 3 jumps from Yulai then involved a 5 jump autopilot trip
