Hi all, i'm wanting to move from missioning in Gallente space to Amarr space, but i have no clue as to where and who to mission for. I've heard to avoid doing missions for the navies/intel factions due to lag of high pop systems. Also is there a fast way for grinding through the level 1's and 2's?
Any recomendations?

You might want to consider "Ammatar Fleet" missions in Ammatar space.
Much the same LP items as Amarr Navy and the agent systems are almost deserted
Storylines give a large derived standing increase to Amarr and Caldari and only a minor hit to Gallente and a little more to Minmatar.
Doing Amarr storylines will cane your Gallente standings big time.
There are a lot fewer agents but I have found a very nice L4 Q16 in a 0.5 system with no lo sec missions. There is a L2 Q 13 and a Lvl 3 Q -17 in the same station as well as a storyline agent. Mail me if you want more info.

Ministry of Internal Order is a fine NPC corp, and standing with them is required to do the advanced Amarr epic arc. Nahyeen in Kor-Azor has a lot of agents (the most in the region), but eventually you'll want to move to Penirgram for higher quality level 4. Nahyeen is 4 jumps from Amarr.
The fastest way to gain standing with a corp is to make sure you always do storyline missions with that corp. For that to happen, it is simply a matter of picking a regular mission agent that is closest to the storyline agent you want, and run mission #16 with that regular agent. I posted on how to find such regular agents.
