To the OP,
1. Leave low sec, its dead
2. Go to null, lets say Syndicate
3. Look here
4. See all those green and yellow system, means there's some carebears there
5. Go kill them, how you do that is a diffrent discussion
Bored with carebears?
1. Look at this instead
2. See all those green/yellow/reds circles? Means theres some pew pew going on there
3. If ur in a ****ty Vexor, bring some friends to, coz the got bubbles and ****.
Few more pointers
1. Bring your own bubbles
2. Set it up on a low sec entry point, like this, or this
3. You will either farm KMs, or the landlords gonna blob you before you can even say YARRRRR in local.
See, it wasn't that hard

I really must disagree with OP. There is several types of PVP, ranging from high sec wars, faction warfare, low sec skirmish, gate camps, probing mission runners, explorers in exploration sites, station games ;) - then big fleet fights in 0.0 space with claiming purposes..
Frigate/destroyer fights in static 1/10 and 2/10 low sec plexes...
You can even duel randoms at safe spots for fair 1v1 fights (if they keep it fair to end ^^)... and much more.
Most important things is to have a good corp and mates in the game, since solo you wont have too much fun, at least I wouldn't.
