At 1716 Yulai Time, Moira Corporation assets entered the Brarel system and began besieging the control bunker, long held by the Caldari State and the Protectorate. At around 1830, the system fell, with a combined force of Federal Defense Union organizations working together to remove the Caldari presence from the system.
Our attention now turns to Intaki and Viriette.
My sincere thanks to all who participated. My congratulations to the pilots and crews that have made this possible.

Probably Alperaute, all of 3 jumps away where Ishukone haulers exit an Ishukone station all the time!

Dear administration of the Gallente Federation, please build a new jump gate connecting Vey to Oursulaert. I would also like to see a jump gate from Brarel to Alentene. It would make the logistics in the area much more flexible. Thank you in advance.

Buddy, you can't campaign for Intaki secession and then ask for favours from the Federation Transport Council.

Actually, as a free citizen, he can do that. Regardless of the message the ILF is just yet another political group complaining about something and making claims to how to 'fix it'. There are countless group like the ILF all over the federated union, complaining about or demanding this or that. The ILF is just somewhat more special in that they are a capsuleer group and advocate separatism as a viable solution to their percieved problems.

Well I was merely reasoning that since the Feds are operating in the area, they could do something useful. A few more jump gates would be great for traders and tourists regardless of their citizenship.
But if the Transport Council honestly thinks they shouldn't invest because the other side is inside the borders of the forthcoming Intaki Nation State, I respect their faith in the success of the secessionist movement. However, even in that case I would recommend them to reconsider, because improved transportation facilities would certainly be of utility to the merchants of Oursulaert and to the adventurers of Alentene.
While I may have a clear vision about how the Federation should be developed, an initiative as beneficial as this one should not be discarded no matter who proposes it.

I assure you, there's a lot of activity around the Intaki Nation State project. Everyone I know from Placid supports the independence movement. Almost daily one hears about small successes and like they say, a little rain each day will fill the rivers to overflowing.

Well that's instructive. Now that it's looking like Intaki's likely to flip back to Federation ownership soon, the ILF suddenly acts like the Caldari are a threat that needs to be defended against again, rather than an opportunity to force through their agenda. It seems that whatever they do, the Federation can never please the ILF. The Federation could march into Intaki tomorrow with enough naval forces to upgrade it to a 1.0 sec system and enough investors to triple the system's GDP and they still wouldn't be happy.

I fail to see what bearing the effectiveness of the FDU or the Protectorate has on the attitudes of the ILF.
Are you suggesting that if the FDU had a satisfactory defense protocol that the ILF would support their efforts to defend the system? It would seem your are forced to if you claim that you find the FDU's presence beneficial. If you do not, why does it matter how effective they are?

I think you will find that the system occupancy status will change little in regards to the attitude of the ILF, so long as they are still being shot at by members of the Gallente militia. So far, what is being brought by the FDU to the Intaki table is not much...though I'm sure they'll enjoy finally being able to vote again...now that the election is over and all.
If you wonder why some Intaki feel themselves as oppressed, you need only look at your own fascist policies.

Eran Mintor-you'll notice I am not, myself, a part of the FDU, though I am fascinated by their relationship with the ILF.
I am not myself suggesting any good is to be had by FDU occupancy. I am asking if that is what Mammal Tafren was implying. If there is no good to be had, what difference does effective defense make? If there is, why do they insist on neutrality?
The views seem contradictory to me, and since the ILF seems a measured and reasoned body, I had assumed they could correct my mistakes in reasoning.

I have absolute faith in our Executor's strategic genius. The State Protectorate has also recovered from losses far worse, as have our Race and State, since times immemorial. This temporary setback does not diminish our will to win by any amount, nor does it disturb the resolve of the body of the Caldari people to watch the federation fail.
The gallente s****had no misgivings about wading knee-deep in Caldari blood while commiting unspeakable crimes against humanity. We will prevail even if we have to drown them in our blood. Never again will our people be submitted to the rule of the pathetic, degenerate federate system that allowed this war to start again in the first place. This time, we are ending it for good. I am willing, as I am certain many Caldari are, to commit themselves to that path of action, should the federation refuse to cease oppressing our State and our People.
