Hello everyone! I am creating a corporation in order to give new traders and place to learn and grow. The Eve Economy can be very intimidating to new traders, and we will give you a helping hand in learning how many have made millions of ISK. Please read below about what we may be able to offer you!
What can Pinnacle Capital Management LLC offer you as a new trader? -A friendly environment to begin station trading. -Small intro-investment to help you get started. -Items that can help you get going with trading. Note: Intro-investments will be given to those that are deemed ready for their adventures in trading.
Requirements for applicants to Pinnacle Capital Management LLC -Basic knowledge of the market (I.E. how to post buy/sell orders ect) -Trade skill to at least 3. (Other market skills trained will help you greatly!) -High learning curve. The market is no joke, there is a lot ISK to be made, but in just a few minutes a failed investment can turn a large profit into a massive loss. -Positive attitude. -Hard worker, lazy people need not apply.
If you are interested in becoming part of the team please post here or shoot me an EveMail, or join our channel P.C.M. Public today! I look forward to helping and introducing new traders to the market. If you have any other questions or comments feel free to post here! :) Regards, Commercant Epique, CEO Pinnacle Capital Management LLC

Is there an intrest on the stuff people will receiving to help with them starting off? What deems a person 'ready' to start trading? I started trading when I was fresh out of the womb of my test-tube. I have done very well for myself over the monthish I have been playing. How exactly will this corporation help people? Will there be a set guide on what items have been selling for ontop of what is present at EC? If you have a trader who has bought lets say 20x ships. Will the corporation be willing to help them transport them with no-fee/small-fee?

Alternatively, you can join Trader's Academy, which has been around for a very long time.
Nothing wrong with having more than one, but what about yours is so different?
How much ISK have you really earned? Do you really think you by yourself can run an entire corporation for this? Who else is on board to help? Do you have the time and resources to really get people moving?
It just seems that there's already something heavily established for this.

The idea is to take people like you were about a month ago, who are sincerely interested in learning a bit about the market. In the beginning I don't foresee the corporation doing much in the area of transportation of goods. This will be much more catered to someone new to trading. Intro-investments would be small, in the manner of 10-25 mill, an amount I feel anyone can really get their feet wet.
However if there is sufficient interest we may be able to expand into hauling/production later on, but for now no.

@Traders Academy-Never knew there was such a thing, seems to me to be pretty non-existant, however google will reveal all. As to my ISK earnings I have turned 50 mill ISK into ~300+ mill ISK in about 2 weeks, as well as another 1 mill ISK into 100+ mill on another account with very little effort. But I believe the amount of ISK I have made has nothing to do with this.
I created this corporation with the mindset to take a few fledgling traders under my wing. If there is interest and people would be willing to join in and help I would be more than happy! I feel the knowledge I have gained over the last few weeks is exactly what new traders need to get started. I would like to see a group of hardworking individuals learn from me for a few weeks, and then take that knowledge to the next level by themselves. I am obviously not going to hand them everything, but give them a few ideas of where to start out.
If anyone is interested in helping let me know and I will see what we can set up :P

I've been interested in starting a venture like this, only not so much a "training school" type of thing. Rather, I want to start a firm that takes on junior trading associates, sets them up with capital, and lets them trade it for commission. Associates could be staked different amounts based on their apparent acumen in trading, and as they gain ability, be given a larger amount to work with. Mentorship certainly wouldn't be out of the question.
I'm at the point right now, moneywise, where I'm looking to incorporate such a venture. Just reading up on how corps work in EVE, and developing a basic outline of necessary assets before I make that leap.

Pretty much sums up what I am attempting to do here :)

10-25m sounds about right in my opinion. I know once I hit 10-25 mil though I was very well aware of the area I was working in which made it easier to work with. People who are just starting out could potentially lose quite a bit. I would personally advise them, if they are not familiar with a online economic market system, to try to stick towards smaller priced things so they do not lose alot more then they make while testing the waters and getting a feel for things.
I know I was looking for one of these types of corps about a week or so after I started. Mostly one where it was a group of traders working together as well as 'apprenticing' people. Not many traders were too interested in that cause it 'cut' into their game. Though, I do wish you luck with it. =)

This seems quite hardcore. As a lot of traders are VERY lazy and got into trading so they won't have to do so much grinding.

Well I must disagree with you here. There are very few traders who can really sit back and not do very much "grinding" as you call it. The market takes lots of research and time identifying potential investments. Although I do agree, once you understand the basic mechanics it is much easier than running missions over and over.
@Tijdon-thank you for your responses! I am very excited at the prospect of this undertaking, hopefully newer players will take advantage ^_^

So you are looking to a create something similar to a proprietary trading firm/model that exist in RL stock and futures markets?
Interesting idea.
Best of luck to you.

In line with other comments, I've been thinking of starting something similar, but more in line with Oliver Twist. :)
Seriously though shoot me a mail in game, I've been developing a trading system that seems to work quite well and would work remarkably well with your idea (lots of brokers are needed)

It takes some time to get into yeah, but I myself am always looking for that steady-turnover-little-0.01isking-but-still-quite-some-isk-on-a-montly-basis-items .
If you go for totally maximizing your profits, well, then I'm sure it's very hard work.
I myself am striving to get to the point that I make enough isk to pay for 2-3 plex every month, still have a few hundred mill to throw onto the heap-o-isk and not having to bother changing orders more than 2-3 times a day on average.

I'd be interested in such a corporation, been toying with the idea myself, however I lack the time and dedication to set up and manage it.
Toss me an eve mail, maybe we can help eachother out.
short resume:
accounting V broker relations V trade & retail IV (53 orders) margin trading IV
estimated NAV: 1500M
started with 300M 1 month ago. Do station trading, quite casually.

Ouch.. Now you're really in a tough spot.
It will be tough to find the kind of players you want over here, and you need a team working around the clock to keep this thread on the front page.
Bummer.

Well pretty much ruined the idea of this thread and the operation behind it but oh well. I understand this is a copreration but its not just that. If you had actually read the post you would understand the idea is to give a place for fledgling traders, even if they aren't going to join the corp, a place to grow and ask questions without being troll'd by some of the MD regulars(and their alts :) ). I really hope you will reconsider this.
