THere are scammers hanging aroudn that are setting it to 10mill isk. Some people fell for it to sadly enough since the cspa charge has become the norm you just click ok and don't even read it anymore. So now they are getting nuked out of money for no reason.
So don't just click ok on cspa charge anymore ;) __________________________________________________

Umm are you stupid or something?
The money goes to CONCORD, always has always will. You can not scam money off people by setting a 10Mill CSPA charge, but you can grief em. I assume you can set high amounts so that if you are one of the famous EVE denizens you don't get bombarded by EVE-mails and convo requests constantly. --------------------------------------------------

So if someone sets the fee at - an excessive - 10 million, wouldn't you agree that that should be a clear idnication to anyone who's ever passed a reading aptitude test that the person adjusting the fee upwards would in all likelihod rather NOT want to talk to you or read your mail?
Anyone clicking "OK" under those circumstances should actually be fined double for insisting to be a pain in the tush. |

What seriously gets up my nose is why the h*ll do I have to pay as a CEO to evemail my own corp members. WTF! Since when do employers (if you will) have to pay in order pass necessary information onto their employees!!!
C'mon CCP, it was a nice joke, but now can we get real. A simple, 'accept convo's from address book only' option would have been much better. It stops spammers, but also stops concord chargingyou for trying to speak to your corpmates and friends.

I can understand people wanting to stop spam PM requests and evemail. However to put this type of a change in place without it being highly publicized is just stupid. CSPA charge has been 100isk forever. No one even bothers to read this anymore. To impliment a change like this and NOT let people know in advance is simply irresponsible on the part of CCP. I think all those that fell for this rediculous greifing tactic should be reimbursed and those that spent the day greifing should be banned.
There was 1 player in particular today advertising in trade channel and having CSPA set to 100 million. That is GREIFING and is against the EULA the way I read it.
Before I get Flamed. NO I did not fall for this but I did have friends that did.

Thats typical CCP. Patch something up, make big announcement about New Feature. then completely ignoring to tell people about the new feature that will REALLY be radical. Like when they changed behaviour of criminal offense regarding to cans. Typical CCP.
. . . Awaiting more and hi-bit rate music - with bated breath ... |
