Lo KeTral Amarr Ravenous Pathogen	Posted - 2010.02.26 16:22:00 - [1] I just read an article about the ship scorpion and how it`s better (or will be) in looks. This made me think about what I think is missing (at least for me). I always dig seeing these old version of previous models whether in cars in the real world or old star cruisers in movies and tv shows. With this thought in mind, why can`t we have older models along with the new ones? Okay, I know some responses will be - 'because it`ll mean more work and more models that will add more useless content' and ' why?' and a slew of other responses. All I know is as far as the look and feel of the game, I just thought it would be way cool to see some old ships in game. Hell, I`d be happy to see them flown by npc`s if that would be the only way. Why do people play Amarr? Because unlike the other races, Amarr characters are much more difficult to play.

If I had an option to use old models, I would, not just for nostalgia, but for performance. The new planets and bump-mapping and self-shadowing is awesome, but I'm still using the same PC I was using in 2006, and I can't keep up.
