I've decided I'm going to give a Tengo a whirl on missions. It seems like the standard subsytem setup is: Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
Most setups I'm reading are using faction/officer gear. If I wanted to keep it T2 for the sake of simplicity and cost, what setups would the community recommend? I blitz lvl 4's, have maxed missile, engineering, shield and electronics skills.
Thanks all!

Fit it like you would an active tanked nighthawk.
Either 7 mids and 3 lows, or 6 mids and 4 lows. Besides, I'm never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down |

The problem is that an all T2 fit hurts for CPU. For example, the CN BCUs not only provide more punch, but they also require only 24 CPU versus 40 for the T2 version. Pith SBs provide more shield boosting than their T2 counterparts. Faction afterburners are there for either cap savings, fitting (less grid,) or extra speed.
Here's an all T2 fit that should work and is cap stable. It has a EM/Therm defense of 412. However, if you spring the 150 to 190 million for a Small B-type Pithi shield booster, you get a defense of 443 and an extra 9.5 cap to play with (aka another rigor rig.)

T2 tank is doable but you really want faction BCU's
Want to test a supercap on SISI but don't have one? |

Swap to CPU Efficiency Gate to solve the CPU problem if you're fitting all T2. Minor loss in targeting range and sensor res & str, but better than losing a slot to a useless CPU mod imo. |

If just going with CN BCU's will solve the CPU issues, I would go that route. It's just that most fits I see are 90% faction/officer and that starts to add up.

The shield boosters are ~20 million each so easily affordable.
You can use a tech 2 shield boost amp with a +3% CPU implant.

If I go CN BCU's, I'd avoid the need for the hardwiring, yes??
And could I go T2 rigs?
I need to DL EFT when I get home from work!!
Thanks all!!

Definitely go for deadspace boosters /i think 2x gistii b are only little less efficient than 1x pithum b + sba, but alot cheaper - advantage of 1x pithum b is less cap requirement so you can swap ccc for another rigor or sth/, cn bcus /more dps is always better for pve ship/ and t2 rigors /faster elite frig pwnge/.
