Edited by: Korabin Junas on 26/02/2010 20:29:11 Figured id post on here and see if i can get some help with a couple station campers in the Nalvula system. Normally i'd be able to get my corp and friends to help me with them, but this time its 2 carriers camping the station and popping anyone who dares undock. Tried twice now to undock and warp out but each time they lock and scram be quicker than i can get out of there. heh so figured there'd be some people out there interested in popping a couple of carriers and grabbing their loot and salvage, not to mention the satisfation of seeing such an expensive ship go boom
System - Nalvula Station - nalvula IV Science and Trade Institute School
EDIT: Now 3 ships, and i have the characters names: Bruce Carraway, IceCream Man and KIAJugger |

You can always wait for someone else to undock first and let them take the first blow, hoping you yourself can scratch outta there. If its a station you frequent then set up an insta-undock. They won't catch you then.

Ok, so, I really should know this, but I don't because I've never had to do it. So I'll ask: bumping carriers and other ships out of docking range? Is it easy? What sort of ship / speed does it take? Any tips?

Either a really lucky cyno placement.
Or you could get a **** ton of dreads and do a fast gank.

The science and trade station has been camped for months. My question is why even go there knowing that they are camping and will always camp. Just for your own knowledge there is more then the 3 you listed. If you are going do to skill books then my suggestion is go a couple systems over and shop in Usosoko or however you spell it. Sorry not in game now to check.
As someone said earlier make a insta undock there and you will be golden. They are not camping 24/7 so find a time when they are not there undock and burn away in a straight line until you are roughly 160km or more away and then bookmark. Then as soon as you undock spam the warp to bookmark and away you go.
By the way not to ruin any of there fun because I myself really don't care for them but look through this posting and you will see someone else who camps said station and no it isnt me

This isn't the only way - I mean, both of them can work...But the true way is much harder, but if you can get it to work the guy doesn't stand half a chance...oh, and its a LOT funnier.
To make this work, you need...
1. Good Stealthy Pilot 2. Another BS or larger ship, the bigger the better 3. At least one interceptor.
The way this works, is you get your Stealth ship EXACTLY 10km behind the carrier, in line with say a plane, so that if something warps to the stealthy at 10km from the planet, it should land INSIDE the carrier. You have your BS/Dread/Whatever pilot at that planet, aligned and ready to go. When all 3 of the conditions are met (Carrier can't be moving, stealthy can't be moving, and it has to be exactly 10,000km) you give the go (also make sure that after you're lined up there is a ton of empty space for something to move really fast in and not hit anything).
What should happen, is the ship that is warping lands inside the carrier, and due to the very high velocity coming out of warp...the carrier gets bumped at SEVERAL KM/S away from the station. Interceptor pilots undock, get point and the ganksquad rolls in. +1 carrier kill.
