I actually liked that part best, it's not perfect, as a matter of fact often both mid slot config and ammo choice are terribly wrong, but it gives the whole thing certain flavour that made me watch it 5 times in a row.

Reload on a maelstrom is 960 rounds, it's quite possible to carry emp, fusion and barrage if you accept that you'll hardly have to empty your guns in a single fight. Never happened to me even before they doubled the AC's capacity. Carrying a second dmg type, which btw actually means making use of the ship's advantage, is really worth dropping 1 800.

He was using null when he was solo vs that bc gang. I didn't quite get it since he was able to keep in range, disregarding that one ship, I think it was hurricane, who mwded away because of no scram. But yes in case of the RR fight, ammo choice certainly makes sense.

There were only thermal drones on rattlesnake, in addition to only thermal torps. At least if I remember the drone window correctly. Again, one would expect it's better to make use of the possibility the ship offers. I never flew it or domi so in this case can't really speak from experience but carrying 1 flight of ogres and 1 of berserkers would seem much better to me.

God damn now I'll have to watch it 3-4 more times.
