Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone uses and could give me a decent fit for a level 3 phantasm. Would be for Amarr missions. Not got that much exprience with shield tanked ships so not sure if it should be passive or active. cheers

some lasers and heat sinks, maybe some shield tank in the mids? just throwing ideas out there...

I have been flying one around for PVP, but I always thought it would be much easier to fit for PVE. This is what I came up with. Note that the fit kinda revolves around the shield booster, if you can afford one the pithum a-type is ideal. However I put a dread medium booster on here because it is more reasonable. I am not really that experienced in PVE so sorry if this is crap, but maybe it will be a starting point for you.

Yeah i was leaning more towards pulse lasers as i love scorch :)
usually try to get cap stable fits but getting tired of gimping setups. Probably try going with a cap booster setup and burn through the npcs. mainly grinding standing whilst i wait for T2 large lasers to finish training anyway. cheers foir the advice guys.

I'd have to concur that Scorch is the way to go. I've used both of these fits for essentially the purpose you describe:

Either way it melts face. If you're feeling paranoid, swap a low for a DC. I've found I like the buffer tank slightly better but pith-B fits are always fun and occasionally the greatly reduced sig can be a good thing.
