I gotta ask and whine a little bit.
Me and a friend is doing lvl 5 in a system.
He have one char with agent access and i have two chars with agent access.
I wonder about how it works when u get a mission. We both prefer to do a pirate faction missions to not screw up our faction standing to much.
My friend with one char with agent access get atleast 2 per day, pirate faction lvl 5 mission in the same system we are in.
Me with two chars with access to the agent havent had a pirate faction mission for a week. I only get empire faction missions and rarly they are in the system the agent is in.
So i wonder, how can it be this unfair, when he gets that many of the pirate missions and i never get them. Have been comparing this for one week now and he keeps hording LP and i have barly one mission every second day i can do and it is not pirate faction mission.
Any good reasons behind this or is it just plain and simply random bad luck for me and good luck for him?
He also have maxed social skills, donno if that is effecting anything?

I wouldn't get discouraged by the lack of response. Your question is almost impossible to answer accurately, and there are very few people doing lvl v missions so any response you get will be opinions mostly from those who haven't a clue or are just guessing.
For my part I have done hundreds of lvl v's with 3 characters with access to 2 agents, they all have varying skills and standings. I cant say I notice any patterns emerging but I can echo your experience in getting a lot of Faction missions offered, this is intended I guess, just another case of no pain no gain.
Why don't you fleet up and share the mission rewards and standings gains?

we do fleet up and run missions together.
i wastho only comparing our situations and have been thinking if there is a reason we have overlooked why i dont get the same "luck" in the lottery of types of missions that my friend get.

It sounds like just luck. Sometimes I'll get numerous pirate missions, other times I'll get nothing but Stray Caldari Carrier over and over. One time I got offered Rogue Spy in the same system 3 times in a row. =p It is just random, though there definitely seem to be more empire missions than pirate/drone missions.

Pretty much this. I ran Lv 5s in Caldari space for a long while with one other person. Sometimes we would get multiple good missions in a row, other times it was a week of cycling our 3 agents through Stray X Carrier and The Fortress.
