So I have enjoyed some of the new graphics, but when we first started my corp we settled in Olo. Our office station orbited this beautiful blue moon. We even used it as part of the Honda Accord Alliance logo. I was back there last night and now it is a horrible cratered black rock! CCP! Bring back the beautiful oceans and beaches of my Olo moon!!

In case anyone wondered what the beatiful Olo moon once looked like it is the image on the first page of our last annual report.

I wouldn't mind if some moons would look a bit different. Every moon in the Universe looking like earths moon is a bit boring. How about some earthlike moons that orbit gasgiants? Icemoons? Lavamoons? I don't know why nobody complained so far?

I was worried that you say you saw a virus message after you got the standard CCP warning. I just rescanned the file with the latest Symantic stuff and the file shows "clean".
If you find something reported please post right away but I am pretty sure the link is safe.

Completely in agreement here, the Gallilean moons around Jupiter (the main 4) are all different. Just with all the moons out there it would be hard to Manage. Sad though as I'm one of the people who spends ages looking for an Asthetically pleasing moon for my POS.

I would imagine that the Devs will update the moon graphics at some point again.
Now, if someone actually moves their POS due to another moon "looking" better?...

I have picked a moon for a POS by how it looked when I had several identical (for my purposes) moons to pick from.
The thing I don't understand is why CCP made this very pretty moon so very ugly. There are some current moons like the first one in Nonni that have the nice inviting "blue marble" look Olo once had. They completely changed the basic nature of the moon, way than just making it look "better". Oh well, just another thing from the old like some of the graphics effects that only live on as memories.

Im sure they did not intentionally ruin your moon. There are lots of moons out there, i would not be surprised if they did not just use some sort of randomization process whilst assigning new moon visages.

i m fairly new to eve but i dont stop hearing about all those awesome graphic features that keep disapearing as eve grow like the trails and other stuff like that and i cant help wondering if the game is going to crap visually speaking to accomodate the number of players that keep growing, the only question that come to mind here is : is it really worth it, to have more players but playing an ugly game ?
ps: bring the trails back and give us the choice to render them or not pls

the new moon is much more graphically impressive, its just not as pretty a color.
They arent downgrading the graphics they are just improving them in a way that is not as artistically happy
