I have to agree though. Some of it sounded like a watered down mix of the Editors and the Smiths with none of the goodness those two bands possess |

Just keep in mind that this was thrown together pseudo-last minute. CCP usually doesn't stream the prelims but people wanted it to badly that they put this together for us. Instead of complaining, be grateful CCP is supportive of it's fans. |

Last minute?
They responded to the feedback from last year and from the start made a commitment to stream all 3 weekends of the tournament this year.
Some (most in reality) wasnt all that bad, but it was pretty easy to tell that CCP was using some pretty cheap music. To be quite honest the stream music was far better than the godawful dark taboo commercial that was played at EVERY BREAK. |

This is a discussion of taste, but I can't complain about Agent Fresco during breaks...
The music of the ads from Dark Taboo and Romanian Legion was extremely annoying, however. |

They could start by making sure the noise levels are the same. I keep having to go from 2 to 20% volume. 20% during fights, and then depending on what ad it is, 2-7%. It's just the same **** the cable companies do with regular TV, wtf.

Its a matter of taste yes, but in my opinion it doesnt fit with the excitement and active spirit the tournament has. It felt like Radiohead was playing 'pyramid song' at a basketball match which is a total disaster. I like radiohead, but in the right ambience and setting. |

What they should do.. being EVE is such a heavily player influenced game, is simple..
Allow some of us pilots to send them some of our own crafted songs. Then CCP doesn't have to be bothered with music-licensing fees. Granted.. some of it will be pretty terrible, but that is adorable character of it.. amatuer music has that good time fun of a quality karaoke night.
Much like countries across the globe having their own anthems.. there would be a sense of pride to have a good song done by some alliance's pilot heard during 'Amarr-cam'. Much like the Olympics.. sorta.
Jus' a thought to hurl at you, CCP. I know you guys are reading this, consider it.
I'm that guy that made 'Hulkageddon' song for Hulkageddon III.. and I'm still a touch stunned at how well it was recieved, kinda made me wish I spent more than a couple of hours on it to up its quality. Point being.. who knows what might turn up to better immerse the playerbase within itself. |

Dubstep is awful. Not only is it all over the "Dodixie/Jita/Rens/Delve-cams" but every damned alliance ad is drenched in it. I pray for that Romanian Legion one because at least it has real instruments in it.
