I had a 4bil bid the other day in game, no idea if they was serious or not, but I will keep taking offers until I find one that pleases me.

Hmm, this is a very strange market on here. Someone offers 2.2bil, then I get a 3bil offer. What is it? Rip someone off as much as you can, so you can turn around and profit?
I'm not trying to make any money off of this game, I just want a decent character to play the game and have fun with. Dark Ritual is currently my only character, so when I sell her, I will have to try and hope I can find another one to buy. Any tips from some of you older players would be greatly appreciated.

well I don't want your char but 3... 3.5bil is what you should expect to get for a pure pvp clean char.
some people exagerate and IF I find the char I REALLY WANT I could throw in an extra bil to get it but usually a clean pvp char with 14mil sp would go around 3... 3.5 bil isk.

I think that 3b is fair, you get a good 200+ m/sp. If you feel offended by my bid that was not my intent.

No man, I wasn't offended by your offer, just kinda new here on Eve and was wondering is all. Like I said earlier, I'd hate to sell my char and not be able to get another decent char for what I sold mine for.
Do you think there is any chance of me getting a minimum carrier pilot for 3bil?

Any carrier character being sold for 3 bill would likely be so poorly trained in all other areas (ie support skills, tanking, navigation, drones etc) that the character would be virtually useless. I know you said "minimum" but you probably want to do more than station spinning in a shiny carrier.
If you do find a toon that is a half-way decent cap pilot for any less than 5-6 billion it's probably a scam

Hmm as id like the characters name, i would offer you more then the 3b b/o, but if possible id like to get an xml with the skills first so i can look into evemon how long its taking me to make him what i need him for.
Btw scams with character sales are not allowed, so i wouldnt fear that

About the only thing I would do right now with a carrier pilot is sit outside the POS and provide fighter support and repair corp members, as it is illegal to rat in a carrier, as we seen 2 carriers get popped not long ago while trying to rat. I don't mind having to train up a bit, cause I got time.
I'm not the kind of person that wants to get every cent that I can, I just want to be able to play the game and have fun, not make tons of money.
