Anyone got some good load out for a Thorax. Mainly for level 3 missions in deadspace. I see most load outs use MWD but thats kinda fubared now isnt it?
Tried to find a post about this but with no search function its annoying. :(

you mean 3/10 complexes or level 3 missions?
3/10 complexes are doable with a destroyer so a rax with a 100mn ab should be easier/ 4/10 seems to be a big step up tho...
level 3 missions? id take a battleship, you cant go wrong then. (at least before the patch)

Havent tried to fit this setup since patch, so might not be able to, but I would go for a rack of small lasers, mids 100mn ab + cap battery or rechargers, med tech 2 rep and whatever hardners in lows, + a large plate if you can make it fit.

my rax is sitting in the corner of my hanger with the dust sheet on...i refuse to fit rails on it its a close range combat cruiser not a longe range rail ship...
better off using a caracal and boringly spamming missiles....

I have been flying a thorax and did a level 3 agent deadspace mission yesterday: took me about 4 trips back and forth with twice a burning thorax as a result. Problems with the deadspace mission was the respawning of something called a sansha demon. I had to change my setup but ended up using:
7 ogres
high
- 5 carbide dual railguns with antimatter
mid
- stasis webifier
- cap recharger
- dampener... forgot which one
low
- 3x reactor control unit 1
- medium armor repairer
- 1600 mm reinforced steel
This was the toughest mission I have done so far, mainly because of the respawning, and having to lure the sancha demon away (uses a web on you and you're a sitting duck..). But it is doable if you have the time.

Dampener doesnt work on npcs, waste of a slot
I'd go with 5x 150mm rails (small ones)
usual armour tank with 1600mm plate
Then see if you can fit a 100mn ab in with a few powergrid mods.
