when i click the eve tab to open game the eve dominion screens shows for about 15 seconds and then disappears. is see the exe file loaded in task manager but no sounds or anything. ive deleted eve and reinstalled and still same problems. ive reloaded directx, and updated my vid card drivers adnthis has not fixed the problem. lastly i did a system restore and still no go. im really running out of things that i could do to fix it. pls help :)

First of all, if you want help from anyone, share some details. OS, config, etc. Did the game run before and when? What did you do with your PC since you could log in successfully? What if you start the logserver, which you can find in EVE folder and then try to start EVE? What kind of error shows up in the logs? Did you delete the saved data in your documents and settings folder also?

160 gb hd
sound blaster x-fi
i for got to mention in the first post that the game froze on me with no bsod just a hard freeze. i cut the power and rebooted and then i cant boot into eve from now on. like i said i deleted the game and installed a fresh copy and its still doing the same thing. windows xp installation is about 2 months old and all my drivers are up to date. btw how do i use the log server?

i had this problem b4 it should be made a sticky make sure you back up **** fitings and overview settings
...
