Lately, an odd number of people fresh out of various schools and academies have been making incendiary (and admittedly pathetic) posts on the Summit. At first, I thought it was merely people paying the uninitiated to do their dirty work for them. But then I realized, they're being biomassed once their job is done and failed. Well, some are. To name a few: Truth Handler, Nooblog, "Slave 2343243" or whoever who tried to blackmail PVBOS. There's more on here, you don't have to look far.
So my question is this: Why don't you people just out and say things yourself? Are you really that terrified of retribution for your statements that you feel the need to waste the time and energy on these empty bodies? Though I have to admit, the use of all these empty faces also displays a large degree of the immaturity inherent to most of those that frequent the summit. So I pose this challenge to you empty faces: Try having the guts to post your messages from your real face, instead of using all these empty names and clones. Its really quite old, and not that clever. Of course, your entire purpose could just be to stir the mud, in which case I expect more to show up here. *SPLUD* |

Funny that you should mention this as I was thinking the same thing after 2 more of these meat puppets turned up with forged comm logs accusing E-M of extortion and piracy. The forgeries were laughable, but it was still quite odd that this would come at the same time as a string of similar accusations made against other well-regarded capsuleers and organizations.
I'm not normally one to believe in conspiracies, but in this case the timing and the targets hardly seem coincidental.
At any rate, I agree with you Captain Dibblebill. I'd ask that these provocateurs have the courage of their convictions and speak for themselves rather than hiding behind anonymous patsies. What you want is irrelevant. What you've chosen is at hand. |

I am hardly anonymous simply because I am usually quiet. What it seems to me is that Electus Matari is attempting to cover up attempted piracy of the basest sort, and your words are nothing more than part of some sort of grand conspiracy to keep your secret cash cow from coming to the public attention.

Secret cash cow? Piracy? Are you insane, pilot?
Our alliance is composed of industrial as well as combat components. It's no secret that we generate funds by manufacturing and selling goods through several outlets across Matari space. I'll let others who truly know how E-M operates judge us through our actions. As I said to you in the slanderous thread you started; I wonder which people will choose to believe--our reputation and past behavior or the unsubstantiated words of an unknown provocateur? I think the former.
And you are indeed an anonymous mouthpiece. You appear from nowhere with not past, no corporate or alliance affiliation. If you're so convinced of your "evidence" then present it openly. Why hide your true identity? Would it be because exposing your masters would also betray their motivations for attacking us in this manner?
At any rate I will have no further communication with you in this thread or your other(s). I've wasted enough of my time talking to meat puppets for one day. What you want is irrelevant. What you've chosen is at hand. |

Yes, a secret cash cow! You are demanding two billion ISK from a two bit industrial alliance. How are we supposed to pay your dreadful ransom when we can't even operate our freighters from Hek to Jita?! You say that your alliance is composed of industrial components - perhaps your alliance leaders felt like we were moving in on your turf?
And then you continue to follow your alliance leaders despite the best proof that can possibly be offered? How pathetic, I find myself wasting time with a sock puppet who is accusing me of being some anonymous twit. I think we all know that your own allegiance is for defending your cash cow, and history shows that people don't like having the whistle blown on their dirty little secrets.

Dibblebill,
I can assure you I need no assistance in voicing my dislike of your organization. Your point is valid however; this recent crop has set the bar even lower than usual...

Sho chuckles, shaking his head lightly.
It's not just these fleeting naysayers, truth be told. The Summit has long degraded into a cesspool of ego ************ and mudslinging. It seems everyone and anyone craving for the perception of attention announces drivel that really should be kept to private channels. I digress, though. It is what it is. I do petition that it be renamed to the Intergalactic Soapbox, however. It would retain the iconic abbreviation while describing it's true purpose to the community-at-large. |

Khanid are not known for their support of democratic ideology. Still, I urge you all to be open-minded to new faces. While there are no doubt dubious persons transmiting questionable information for political advantage, perhaps even as far as being called genetically engineered mouth-pieces, Lord God forbid someone new actually wants to come and play slavers and slaves. |

The offered proof is nothing more then a clever forgery. Granted that you have to look at it closely and zoom in to see it, but it's a forgery none the less. Ta-ta, have fun.
To the real matter at hand. I would say it's nothing else then politics. Like the previously mentioned forgery attempt it's a simple, direct and safe way to tarnish the reputation of a person, corporation or alliance to people who do not know the intended target of the tarnish attempt.
If you look at the merits of the used method then it clearly comes to view that it's down with minimal effort, there is hardly any thought in a clear rational and the claims are in general to preposterous for anyone whom even did a few minutes of searching into the targets history to believe at all. The last thing is ofcourse that the party giving the assignment stays anonymous and therefore out of any sort of consequence from the attempt. This also has the fortunate side benefit that it makes the claims very hard to believe to anyone with even a little paranoia, like most of us have.
In other words, there are some people out there willing to sacrifice other people for their benefit.
