Almost a year ago, Oberon Inc. helped found the Phoenix Alliance (PA). Oberon Inc has found in recent weeks that the views of the PA Council and those of the employees and stockholders of Oberon Inc. contrast at a fundamental level.
Oberon Inc. is heartbroken to announce that we secede from the Phoenix Alliance. We leave on friendly terms, and have a great deal of respect for many corporations and individuals that make up the PA.
Oberon Inc. hereby rescinds any claim(s) made previously to the disputed regions of Branch and Tenal. Our military and industrial forces will withdraw from these regions immediately.
We wish the waring factions within these regions every hope of finding an accomodation to bring harmony once again to the North.

I appreciate the afore-mentionned lack of smack, etc. I think the heartbroken part is more true than any of us will ever admit. In any case, safe skies.
I'd like to thank the PA for being good friends and good neighbours. I'd like to thank BoB for teaching us how to be almost unstoppable at PvP, and RKK for teaching me about trick loadouts (especially oversized stuff:P). I know this will boost those over-large egos a bit, but Evolution's rep isn't from nothing and we've learned a lot. I'll miss the high-level PvP a lot, we won't see it's like anywhere else in EVE. That doesn't mean hugs or anything, there's a lot of history there, but give I will give you your due.
That's just my personal bit, Halo has said the offical thing.

I take it you wanted a change obviously. Well, on the bright side. Not many corps can make claim to what you guys accomplished and achieved. It is a rather pathetic shame that it what you worked so hard for and put so much effort into something only to eventually to give it up.
So with that, I bit you no good luck, or ill tidings for it would effect the path your corperation should take.

Jericho Fraction will be changing standings to something other than -10 for Oberon in light of their leaving the PA.
What the standing level will be is unclear to me, but our CEO's may wish to discuss this further when they are both online.
