[1] I would like to see a variety of worm holes some random, others stable and others stable at one end. Some might even follow a pattern of random appearances. Also subspace corridors might be fun some might be a series of inter connected corridors others might be just one or a few. All stable and more direct routes to various locations. |

[4] Edited by: Ethan Kel on 27/04/2007 18:45:20 Edited by: Ethan Kel on 27/04/2007 18:43:54 Expanding on this original post, if we incorporated subspace corridors, it would add another dimension of warfare/economics. These corridors would be networks of hiways in a subspace enviornament and would access various areas of the EVE galaxy and be independant networks of these hiways. Some with many entrances and exits, others with fewer or even dead ends or no return option through that exit. Several of these corridor networks would exist apart from each other and be controlled/managed by those who found them and guarded their entrances. They would be a conquerable entity or sepcial structures might be created at the entrances/exits/ |

[5] hehe, reminds me sooooo much of freelancer :D tbh i quite like the idea, but the wormholes should be placed in hard to get to areas (deadspace pocket equivlants ) at both ends with some kind of risk to using them over the normal gate system |

[6] what about having random worms that pull ships into them and toss them 2 to 30 jumps away. This could be like what happened in Star Trek One when the Enterprise was pulled into a wormhole because of an anti-matter imbalance in the engines. Although this would not be created by a ship but could be caused by some local spacial event such as a gas field being populated with neutrinos or something like that. |
