Mixed Metaphor is recruiting pilots interested in small- and medium-gang warfare to reform the corporation after a long period of relative inactivity to form a tight-knit, self-reliant military force to battle in the Gallente-Caldari contested zone, pirate-infested low-security space and the lawless regions of nullsec. We intend to create a friendly, relaxed environment in which PvP combat is a pleasure, not a chore, and in which one can always lose a couple of fights without having to worry about their wallet.
To join, you must:
- Be at least 2 months old.
- Have trained to fit and fly cruisers OR interceptors of either Gallente or Minmatar make.
- Demonstrate the ability to competently fit and fly at least one Gallente or Minmatar Tech-1 ship of cruiser level OR at least one Gallente or Minmatar frigate-scale Tech-2 ship in combat.
- Demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate an ability to properly use the words "there", "their", "they're", "your", "you're", "don't" and "definitely" in a sentence. (It doesn't necessarily have to be the same sentence, though)
- Possess a non-negative Gallente Federation standing OR be willing to take immediate action to rectify a negative standing. (0 or "null" standing is perfectly acceptable)
In return, MXD can provide:
- Financial assistance for new players (6 months or less) with skillbooks, small ships and modules.
- Training in any area of game skill (fitting, combat tactics, fleet command) if requested.
- Experienced FC with several years of game experience in various combat theatres and situations.
- A relaxed, friendly PvP environment in which combat operations can be as frequent or as infrequent as is needed - we don't have any starbases or infrastructure hubs that might suddenly need defending.
- Clearly defined command structure with delineated rights and responsibilities.
- Direct access to the Gallente militia.
- Easy access to pretty much every Gallente and Minmatar agent in the game, if you like missions.
- Fully-functional corporate website with killboard and forums.
- Logistical support for combat operations, including carrier support.
