question, is steeling a mission item that a player needs to finsh a mission with in the rules.
i know savaging wrecks and looting from cans are, but are mission items included?

Only if a buyback is offered. In that case, yes, Totally Within the rules.
So deal with it.

Best yet: stealing mission items doesn't even flag you for pvp! How cool is that?
Even kids, housewives and grandparents can start ninja-bearing from day one.

Contracting the Damsel back in exchange for a Janitor works too. (And it will **** them off).

30M was a fair deal, mate. The contracts that were currently on for the items ranged over 35M. We were giving it back for a bargain ;)

Lol, I love when the antagonist pops up in the thread.

I humbly deny any direct action taken to produce forum-based tears. However, I am proud to be part of the corp who dunnit, and yes, I was online for the incident.

Edited by: Slippery Slug on 16/03/2010 21:26:34 The obvious solution to this is to not mission in highsec. In lowsec and nullsec, you can shoot ninja-salvagers and people who steal your "quest items" at will.

The obvious solution is simply to immediately loot all mission-sensitive items and if someone else is waiting for them to become active don't complete the necessary triggers until they leave.

Please explain how one would encase a mission item in steel. Does it have any effect on said item once this process is done?

I wholeheartedly support this statement. I'm sure the more experienced (and even the beginners) of the ninja community would love not having CONCORD on their backs when they gank said mission runner in lowsec :)
Oh, and take everything ;)
