There was a post about the Moa....
"Why don't people fly it?! Is it because it's ugly?"
To which some pilots replied...
"It looks like a Dinosaur with a briefcase"
"The bastard child of a swan and a toaster"
Being new to eve and unfamilar with the ship I boosted up EVEwiki-Moa and had a good laugh at these comments...
So... Let's have a laugh...

Bit of an old quote. I'm sure with a quick search I could give the author his proper due, but he knows who he is. Kept it for kicks and giggles, knowing it'd come in handy one day.

Gila - looks like somebody wanted to make the Moa uglier.
Several people, mostly Americans, have told me a Drake looks like "a bootsc****r". WTF is a bootsc****r? If I saw one, would I say that it looked "like a Drake?"

The Tristan is a StarViper-class ship from Star Wars (Prince Xizor's ship, for anyone who has read SotE): http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/StarViper-class_attack_platform.
(There are also a few other Star Wars ones, but all but the Rifter == X-Wing relation that I can think of off-hand have already been mentioned).

Earwig + Radiation = Archon
Prophecy hull = Battle Pigeon
Ingredients: Metal poles, wingy bits, lots of rusty scrap metal, as many guns as you need, same with thrusters and missile bays, duct tape.
Mix ingredients until congealed into something resembling a spaceship; duct tape in place. Results may vary: see all Minmatar Ships.

Typhoon: Where the hell is the other half of the ship? Look at the front, it is clearly designed to clip on to something else.
Hyperion: "Sir, the engine exhaust is eating through the rear hull."
Prophecy: Can opener with a really big handle.
Daredevil: A Dram with all the optional safety equipment.
