Hello I would love if someone could advise me on Gallente ships and which are the best for PVP from frig up, as I will more than likely either start training Caldari or Amar after I get To BS in gallente.
I want to fly cruiser mostly to begin prol the Thorax but after that kinda lost any help would be nice thank you ahead of time. Currently I am training up to get Mining barge So I can finance my PVP career later on, I have frig to 3 and Space ship comand to 4 destroyer to 2, want to get frig to 4 or 5 then get cruiser skill for Thorax. After I get my barge which will be in about a week and a half

Mining sucks. If you want to finance your PvP you are better off doing missions or ratting, generally.
Incursus etc. -> Thorax and Vexor (don't forget the Vexor, it is generally a much better ship than the Thorax lately) -> Brutix and Myrmidon -> Taranis (if you feel comfortable fighting in smaller ships, use the Incursus or similar a lot prior to jumping into the Taranis). At that point you should know where to go next.
My best advice is to avoid mining and to focus more on the Vexor as opposed to the Thorax as the Thorax is not very good for new players (or in general).
You should also not be anywhere near BCs for another two or three months - specialize in the smaller ships or you will find yourself getting killed in the bigger ones by specialized and experienced pilots.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss frigates, the Incursus and the Tristan are both very good ships. Suggested ship progression is as follows:
Incursus/Tristan -> Vexor/Thorax -> T2 frigs generally either Inties or AFs
-> Brutix/Myrmidon -> T2 cruisers -> Domi -> Mega/Hype
I would say the Vexor is a better choice of Cruiser than the Thorax 9/10 times. The Ishkur and Taranis are stand out ships in the T2 frig range and are well worth flying. When it comes to BCs it really depends on personal taste and whether or not you have more SP in gunnery or drones. Brutix being the blaster boat and the Myrm being the drone boat. Which T2 cruisers you choose to fly depends very much on what style of play you want. I put Domi before Mega/Hype as you can very effectively fly it without having trained for T2 large guns which takes a considerable amount of time. Good drone skills are all you need and if you don't have that at this point then your doing something wrong. This doesn't make it an inferior ship, far from it, but it is just easier to get into. Mega/Hype are probably the last ships you will get into and which you fly is up to you. They use the same skill set so thats not really an issue.

Thanks for the responses, toying with the idea of either bio-mass this toon now and go with Amar or Caldari or keep him and cross train to Amar or Caldari. as I am seeing other than drone bonuses the Gallente not as PVP stellar ships. Maybe Pve better suited I am so cornfused

Don't biomass, don't crosstrain. Gallente is fine, focus on getting your drone skills up there.

also suggesting your abandon mining as it is a terrible way to make isk.
a few questions for ya: what are your long term in game goals?
here's what you need to consider Caldari : PVE & ECM Amarr : capitals & siege warfare Minmatar : PVP champs Gallente : umm...
figure out what you want to do, and either chose the ship race that fits your needs or 'play for fun' and don't cry too much about the ships you have available not being the best.

Oh I'm not whineing by any means just looking for opinions, My goals are a little fuzzy however main goal is to get skillz up, and be as self sufficent as possible get to gallente cruiser5 then look at cross training for ratting and then PvP. Deff gonna give a look to the blaster boats as I am Gallente haha but def gonna cross train for solid PVP down the road.

Elsa is way over-generalizing. Every race has excellent ships for PvP, don't feel like you have to crosstrain to be effective. Additionally, Gallente have some of the best PvE ships too, so don't feel like you have to crosstrain there either. You're much better off picking a race you enjoy and then making it good at what you want to do (within reason) than picking what you want to do and choosing "the best" race.
