I don't have time to play but I do have an active character sitting in station doing nothing other then hording up SP's, around 9 mil so far (with 5+ implants). I got remap up and I plan to put everything into perc / will but until then I'm going to train all the usefull int / mem skills up that I'm going to need to succesfully fly a Amarr BS such as Apoc and later on Paladin.
I got skill plan in Evemon and I change it almost everyday.. One day I see a reason to train some skill and the next day I remove that certain skill from the plan. So what I'm asking is: "Do I need these skills to fly Apoc / Paladin succesfully for missions / pvp?".
Here are the skills that I'm plan NOT that train to IV or V and note these are only the skills that I'm unsure of. So if anyone has some input on why I should train those skills if I'm going to fly a Battleship like Apoc / Paladin for missions / pvp please comment.
Electronics Electronic Warfare Electronics Upgrades V (do I need signal amplifier?) Frequency Modulation Long Range Targeting V (6 days for 5%?) Sensor linking Targeting V Target Painting V Signature Analysis V
Engieering Energy Pulse Weapons IV and V All the shield skills? Energy Emission Systems is at this moment in the plan but i'm skeptical about if i'm going to use Heavy Nosferaty II in the future
Mechanic Energy Weapon rigging IV ? all the armor compensation skills to V? 4x6 days = uff
Navigation Acceleration Control to V ? 13 days is alot for 5% Warp Drive Operation V?
That's it

yes, they are good to have.

Electronics you'll need 5 Electronic Warfare Electronics Upgrades V (do I need signal amplifier?)needed for covert ships. many pvp gangs like that flying around. fun too. don't know about sig. amp. Frequency Modulation Long Range Targeting V (6 days for 5%?)only if you plan for logitics ships soon.
Sensor linking Targeting V Target Painting V Signature Analysis V I would, sniper hacs are just mean.
Engieering Energy Pulse Weapons IV and V All the shield skills? yes, for sure before remap Energy Emission Systems is at this moment in the plan but i'm skeptical about if i'm going to use Heavy Nosferaty II in the future lvl 4 is good
Mechanic Energy Weapon rigging IV ? maybe, for some fits? all the armor compensation skills to V? 4x6 days = uff HELL NO. 4 is more than good.
Navigation Acceleration Control to V ? 13 days is alot for 5% maybe, if you like to fly minmatar ships. like vag or sabre, etc.. Warp Drive Operation V? nope, only for caps.
That's it

I assume these are included as headings, not skills you're not going to train to V? They're too cheap and provide too important basis stat boosts not to train.

No, but you may at some point need CovOps and/or Recons.
Quote: Long Range Targeting V (6 days for 5%?)
Helps your sniping.
Quote: Targeting V
If you're planning on getting into a Paladin, then yes. Targeting V is a prereq for Multitasking, which you'll need to get the most out of that ship. It's also dirt cheap, so no reason not to train it.
Quote: Signature Analysis V
Again, dirt cheap, and if you're going to fly battleships, you'll enjoy every bit of faster locking you can get.
Quote: Energy Weapon rigging IV ?
Not an immediate priority, but it's not that much of a time hog and the bonus will probably help if you ever intend to rig your weapons. Also, while you may not use it all that often, having the option of fitting T2 rigs is nice.
Quote: Warp Drive Operation V?
Cap is life. Anything that saves cap is good. Anything that saves that much cap for that little training time is double-good. ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Electronic Warfare is needed for the Electronic Warfare drones skill which gives you extra range on all drones.
Since you're Amarr take a look at the Curse and the Pilgrim, plus fits for them, also consider the Target Disruption skill, plus the adv. version.
Also check the difference between training drones now and after your remap as you'll need to put 1m+ SP into those skills. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- you seem determined to turn it into ******* Hollyoaks for neckbeards. |

Support skills are overrated, if it is part of the Core Competency Certificate tree it is wasted SP that you could have used on ships and guns instead.

I see you have chosen NOT to skill some of the most vital skills of all. Let us know how that 75 m/s Paladin works out for you.

Promise you that in a few months, you'll be laughing that you considered not training 3/4's of the skills on that list.

Thanks for the helpful comments and from saving me from making huge mistake. My skill plan is now way longer than the previous one and it will stay that way.
