with all the changes to eve this past year i was wondering why all modules haven't been changed to better fit into the theme of eve. .ccp want eve to be pvp war driven kill'em all and then kill'em again when they undock..why hasn't ccp upgraded the less used modules codebreaker I needs to be changed to include stealing player loot out of containers anchored in space..(another way to get players a aggression timer )
allow tractor beams to be used on yellow wrecks (starting a aggression timer once the module is activated)
please bump this thread with a yes or no

+1 on the tractor beam. I still can't figure out what in-game reason there is that tractor beams only work on certain wrecks.
Codebreaker idea isn't all that bad, although I would make them fairly difficult to crack, which may be reason enough for someone to actually invest in rigs that improve this chance. |

I really hate these stupid Ninja Salvager, so i don-¦t like the idea to allow them to use a Tractor beam at my loot.
But i also had a similar idea for the codebreaker. You can hack a secure container to get the loot, but be sure that after the first run the owner gets an aggresion timer (the same as normal loot stealing), either your Hacking try was negativ or positv.
Also for Analyzer i thought that you should be able to use them on some mission generic structures, like space shuttle wreckage. If you have success you get with an really low possibility a data core or some srap.
My idea behind this was that an exploration ship as new T2-BC would be nice. Normally the best ships for explorations are CovOps or (if you dont want to switch or us a second account) T3-Cruiser. The bonis of the T2 skill would be: 10% Bonus to scan resolution per level & 5 % reduction of scan time for data and compsite scanners (salvager, codebreaker, analyzer and survey scaner). But obviuosly these ships shouldn-¦t fit CovOp-Cloaks, but maybe be able to use BlackOp-Bridges.
I agree that my idea is idea is more carebear-like, but... well,... i would love this vessel.

why bother with all that.. why not just make it so it siphons the value right out of their wallets..... sic CCP doesn't want to be the pvp kill em war driven game from what I can see.. they want to be a sandbox.. that includes all types of play.. who knows maybe tomorrows big deal in eve will be play that is just stting around in a station doing things (when walking in stations is fully explored) [IMG]http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a208/DawnFrostbringer/consultsig.jpg[/IMG] |
