i dual log 2 accounts onto 2 screens so allways run in windowed mode, the thing is now i have win 7 my toolbar sits at the top and wont leave me alone. on vista i used to drag the windows up and sit eve centrally on the screens but win 7 doesnt like that, it drops them back down. this may not sound like much of an issue but it means i lose the same amount from the bottom of my screens, so no undock button and no corp hanger button.
i realise this is more of a windows issue than an eve issue, but having gone through several forums without finding a way to remove the bar alltogether, coupled with eve being the only program i need to know this for.... and of course ms wanting to charge me just to ask them even though i have a genuine copy of windows and just shelled out 80 notes allready.... i thought id ask here.
any help much appreciated, ill be sat here like an ape scraching and waving bones around without a little guidance from the more informed. |

you sir, are a legend! whilst i, appear to be blind. yeah thats the same issue as me and the advice there worked nicely. thanks for the pointer. |

Ok this is great and is just like XP, however....
Has anyone noticed that they are left with missing pixels in a long horizontal like across the centre of the screen?
It doesn't always appear for me right away, and happens after switching screens a few times. Mostly noticeable when reading chat text. It looks corrupted along the line. |

ive actually seen that in other programs, but not in eve yet. very irritating but as yet it hasnt affected my gaming so im doing the proverbial ostridge impression. guessing its a wider windows thing and will be patched or whatever it is they do..... though knowing ms it wont be anytime soon. |
