Anyone else ever seen this?
If I have 2 screens running, in windowed mode, and switch between them a few times, on one client I get a line of missing pixels, which is especially noticeable when reading chat text. It's pretty much in the middle of the screen all the way across.
I've only noticed it since switching on the "prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen" thing....
Its not a big thing, but its annoying.

Ah - I get this also!
Recently just added a second monitor, have them arranged one above the other and disabled "prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen" so that I can push the top of the eve window off of the top of the upper monitor so that it doesn't encroach on the lower monitor.
I'm just running a single client so its not a multiclient thing, like you it is roughly the middle of the screen and I notice it in the text on the overview.
If anyone has any tips on diagnosing/fixing this they would be appreciated...

Had a bit of a closer look once I got in game - looks like i'm missing 2 lines of pixels, what I've also noticed is that I have (no matter how I position the window) that I have a single line of window pixels at the top and bottom of my screen - this doesnt happen at the sides, and may explain the missing pixels as the monitor res is 1080 vertical and eve is set to 1080 vertical.
I'm guessing if the following
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/6283-borders-changing-width-suite-your-needs.html
lets you set window border to 0 pixels will resolve but will affect all windows - even then I'm not sure that a 0 border window would be allowed - am mid wordls collide at the mo so will look later.....

I have the same issue, I didn't start to have this problem until I first made it so the screen in windowed mode doesn't auto adjust. I have since reset that setting and the problem still persists. If I move the game out of windowed mode the problem goes away but comes back once I move it back into windowed mode. This also happens with several different resolutions aswell, I run 2 monitors with different res's. I have re-installed the client a few times and the problem hasn't gone away.

Edited by: Amanda Bynes on 13/04/2010 10:11:19 Edited by: Amanda Bynes on 13/04/2010 10:10:21 its win7 thing. the issue is, when you try to move eve window to top screen and try to move higher than windows like, your window will get resized to size that fits visible desktop resolution. easy way to check this is by using evemon, where you can see resolution of your eve window. for example when i have eve window set to 1680x1050 and tried to move it to the top quickly (so the mouse will leave visible resolution) it will get resized to 1680x1048 (or any other similar resolution) those 2 pixels is what you are missing.
easy way to fix this is to re-select window resolution in eve game client. select any other resolution, click apply to set and than select back your desired resolution and apply it. or just restart your client.
to avoid this issue you can use evemon or any other sw that can move windows by win api. another option is to learn and stop mouse right at the top of your screen, slowly :)

Edited by: lacal on 13/04/2010 17:37:23 Cheers Amanda - Evemons' 're-locator' function has totally cured the issue for me.
Who would have thought that evemon could manage your windows better than an OS named after them
