..Question is: Can you use a PLEX to upgrade a trial account into a full account? And how do you go about doing that? Thanks!

Yes.
And to answer the question you haven't asked but you probably will want to, the 30 days get added to the remaining trial time. If for some odd reason they aren't, feel free to petition it.

Exactly the same way you apply a PLEX to an existing account.
Buy one (preferably from the market, but contracts can work too, or even direct trades) located anywhere (you don't have to be at the location it's being sold unless you do a direct trade - market and public contracts work from anywhere in the region, and private contracts from anywhere in the universe).
Then, open up your assets list (there can be up to 5 minute delay between purchase and the moment it shows up in the assets list if you had the asset list open recently, so don't panic if it's not there yet ; so try to not open the asset list at all until after you purchased it so it shows up immediately), right click on it, select "apply game time", confirm it, and you're done.

I have a trial account which finishes sunday the same as my full account which was done with the buddy system.
If i use a plex for the trial will my full account get the bonus 30d before sunday when it runs out?.

Yes.
Side-note, not sure if the system is 100% fault-proof yet, I hear it was fixed to work automatically now, but several months ago you had to petition to get the 30 days added on the inviter's account if the activation was made with a PLEX. Like I said, it should be fixed, but just in case nothing happens for 3-4 days or so, consider petitioning.

You can use the PLEX to upgrade a trial account without the extra $5
If you were referred by a friend, or another one of your accounts, using a PLEX does credit the referrer with the 30day bonus time (I've personally done this recently, may need to relog quick before you see the change).
Only downside I've heard about this is that you'll have to keep feeding the account PLEX's. As soon as you switch to a CC it will charge the extra $5 fee, but I just heard that thru the grapevine...dont know if it's true or not.

You messed up already. You have to activate the invited account before the first 14 days of trial are due to get the 30days. The account that sent the buddy invite has to be active when the invited account is being activated to get the 30 days.

No, that's something else that says there.
"Your friend must activate the free 21-day trial within 2 weeks of receiving your Buddy Program invite."
That means that the one invited has to create the 21-day trial in less than 14 days from the moment you sent the invite, NOT that the buddy trial has to be upgraded to a paying account in the first 14 days of the trial.

Just to know...
if i have a "freezed" account with 0 time inside it and i want to use a Plex to refresh it and have other 20 days with it... how can i do?

You can submit a petition to have your account reactivated for a day to apply a PLEX. |
