Trying to install a jump clone but my standings are really low. Is there a faster way to improve them other than mission running? And does standing need to be 8.0 to install one?
Also, how do I access agents that aren't available to me yet? Do I do missions for other agents (that are available) in the same solar system for a while or something?

EACS is clearly easiest. Also somewhere there is a nice guide.
Probably want to read up more on the agents, rather than me typing of the top of my head. Lots of info available
You may want to pick a NPC corp to run for, so you would use agents for that corp anywhere, not just system. Read about faction vs nps corp standing and "storyline agents" Also see diplomacy and connections skills to make it easier to access agents.
You will then need http://www.eve-agents.com/ http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=MissionReports

You do missions for agents in the same corporation - it doesn't matter if they're in the same system or not. Training Social makes the standings gains quicker, and Connections gives you a boost to your base standing. ----------------

This makes sense, but sometimes the only agents I see in a corporation (NPC) are the ones not available to me. Will work on the training skills, thanks!

This might be an ultra noob question, but if your jump clone gets podded, does another jump clone replace it? Or do you buy a new jump clone?

2nd ultra noob question: Is it possible to continue skill training while clone jumping?
Okay, you're at location A, you have a jump clone at B. You switch to B, you now no longer have a jump clone at B, but you leave one at A. If you get podded, you still have a jump clone at A.
And you do have to pause training to jump clone, but only for a moment, you can resume training the second you appear in your jump clone. ----------------
