Edited by: Katsumi1980 on 21/03/2010 03:12:16 I've been living in nullsec for a while now, but until recently I never went ratting on my own. I found myself getting whooped by some of our sites in our lvl 5 military sov space with full updated structures. Since then I've taken notes of what's what and which is worth doing and how many ships are needed to do the harder ones.
Is there a list with all the scanable sites? With a list of difficulty? So far it seems that if the formula is: "angel den", it's easiest, place "forlorn" infront and it's a tad harder, filled by forsaken being the hardest and most profitable. Then a few sites have "hidden" infront, I think those are harder than forsaken, am I correct in my finding? My next question is what are the site's orders from max difficulty to easiest? I find rally points easy, and not worth my time except the forsaken rally point. Den are easy as well, havens and sanctim I'm not sure. I'd like to get a list with approx. Difficulty for both ship scanner instant 100% and ones that require probing out, along with escalation lists. I know it's probably already posted somewhere, but I can't find it.

Anomalies are ranked in difficulty by 10 levels, these are:
* (Faction) Burrow / Drone Collection (lowest) * (Faction) Hideaway / Drone Cluster * (Faction) Refuge / Drone Gathering * (Faction) Den / Drone Gathering * (Faction) Yard / Drone Surveillance * (Faction) Rally Point / Drone Menagerie * (Faction) Port / Drone Herd * (Faction) Hub / Drone Squad * (Faction) Haven / Drone Patrol * (Faction) Sanctum / Drone Horde (hardest)
Haven and Sanctum are the only ones worth doing, sanctums are best and can escalate to 10/10
You can solo 6/10, 8/10 with the right ship (ishtar for guristas) but you need atleast 3 people to do 10/10 or similar ranked escalations with the right resists. (Guristas you can do with ishtar/munnin/phobos + logi + dps) because of the 160k em torp.

Nice list, just adding that both havens can escalate to 10/10 just like sanctums and that hub's can escalate into 8/10's. combined with your post this is good info.

Edited by: Sfynx on 21/03/2010 04:00:07 Tengu is another nice cruiser for 0.0 kinetic/therm npc plexing (guristas and whatnot), because of insane active tankability without sacrificing DPS upgradability (BS-like dps aswell with its bonuses). In principe it should tank anything except the heavy energy neutralizing towers you cannot clear fast enough, and those huge DPS torpedo rooms.
Drawbacks are cost and situations where cap is drained for too long (ishtar/gila can be made 100% passive more easily).
Sites needing multiple probes are generally more difficult, but have a greatly increased chance of faction spawns and/or escalations. Anomalies give reliable income in an upgraded system because they have a spawn guarantee, signatures can end up crappy or can be a jackpot if you happen to find them.
In any case, you should always be able to solo any cosmic anomaly (especially in a T2 or T3 cruiser hull), and all but the hardest signatures/escalations with a decent fit.

Thanks for the info!!!

I fly pure Amarr until I max my tank skills and gunnery to max... So until I perfect those skills I'm not cross-training for the time being.
for any amarr laser ship using armour tanking.. a type enerhised plating is your friend... at max compensation skills they are fractionally better than t2/faction active hardners.

I've seen this list before and it's very good but I can't help but feel it's only mostly complete. I've scanned a system that had a haven, sanctum and military complex. Military complexes don't seem like 'cosmic signatures' so I assume they're regular anomalies. They're harder than sanctums. Maybe someone else can speak up as to what they are and where they fit in this list if they are part of the list.

If you can find it without probes, it's an anomaly, if you find it with probes at max probe range (32u for core) it's an anomaly (all anomalies will be 100% if they're within range of any 1 probe). Signatures require multiple probes to pinpoint them to 100%.

That's where you went wrong, it's an unrated exploration site, not an anomaly. Most of them (including the one you linked) are worth more than sanctums which makes sense since you have to actually probe them down.

I happen to have pretty good statistics on the Blood Raider Hubs.
From easiest to hardest they are
Blood Hub Blood Raider Hidden Hub (Lots and lots of frigs, takes forever to complete.) Blood Raider Forlorn Hub Blood Raider Forsaken Hub
ISK/h (from bounties alone) scales differently.
