Edited by: Jonsha on 21/03/2010 09:49:35 I have googled 'till my fingers bled, asked on local and corp chats for about a week now and been all over the place looking, but I can't find a "things to see in EVE" guide or anything similar.
I am planning a tour. I have been playing well over a month now and my corporation recently held loads of mining ops to strive to achieve a certain ship. I feel like I need a break, and having recently ramped my graphic settings up to full for the first time I realised that a lot of EVE is quite pretty. I have a small list of places/things to see, one of which I have already done:
- Gallente and Caldari Prime
- The EVE Gate
- Plasma Planet - done
- Lava Planet
- Amarr highsec Titan - dunno much about this one, a friend mentioned it and said to see it.
- Wormhole space - recommended by a friend.
I was wondering if there was anything I should be adding to that list? I have reserved a few days for the trip if I need it, and I am based in Brellystier, but I don't care how long the journey is, if something is worth seeing, I want to see it. On a side note, could I please get some further information about the location/back story of the items on my list? I am particularly interested in the Titan (never seen one in space).
Thanks for the help/info/suggestions, Jonsha

You have to visit what remains of Seyllin I. It's an amazing and scary thing to see.
Also if you're lucky you might see Chribba's 4 mining titans in Sahdi (I think that's where he usually mines?)

Chribba is insane, mines in titans and dreads, runs Eve-Files.com and you can call him out by mentioning veldspar in a thread...

Ima try it:
VELDSPAR!!!!
Isn't mining in a Titan/dread really rubbish when it comes to income? I bet he does it for show. I will definitely travel to Sahdi to have a chance at seeing that. If I see Chribba in local, I shall find him. I have never seen a Titan in space, nor a Dread, so it will be good to see four of them =P

When wormholes suddenly started appearing everywhere in early YC111 one of them popped up inside the planet and literally tore it to shreds. To think how easily an entire planet was destroyed by these phenomena, it's quite intimidating.

Wut? Read the bloody back-story... It was a related catastrophe; the sun 'flared', for lack of a better word, cooking the planet and killing nearly everyone on the day side. Then the sun gave a much more powerful shot (I think?), which is what broke it up.

I would suggest to visit the major central hubs.
There is nothing worth seeing as far as beauty is concerned, but there you will se ton of freighters and pilots coming from very far, those places are a monument to eve global economy and there you can breath the greatness of EVE.
Those systems are the most important in Eve.
So Amarr, Rens and Jita.
Stand by in front of jita 4-4, rens brutor tribe treasury, or the equivalent amarr station and look at the freighter trafic... how many lives are tied to those stations?
It would be interesting to study how those location have risen in importance (see the last economic newsletter).
I would suggest you to have a look at amamake (with a cloaky ship maybe) to see the most violent lowsec system (go in a belt cloaked, se what happens).
Arnon should be great too, to seee what happens there. It's the most violent system in highsec. Go there and ask people in local to explain what's going on.

You could also add each of the wormhole space environment types to your list, ie Magnatars, Black Holes, etc. Although, finding these solo might prove to be a challenge. -

D'oh, shouldn't comment on a post while half asleep. I sent my reply to the report. SORRY CCP, DON'T HURT MEH!
"Some sleeper complexes have monoliths not to mention the space can have spatial phenomena. I would make it your goal to see a Black hole, Wolf Rayet, Pulsar, Catalcysm, Magnetar and a red giant. Also there are quite a few complexes / dead space zones with scenery you should see like the Toxic Cloud Environment (make sure you have a tank)."

The old graveyard was destroyed in an act of epicness by the alliance formerly called goonswarm - now SOLODRAKBANSOLODRAKBANSO(LODRA). Its destruction is one of the most noteable military achievements of this alliance.
I am not sure if the graveyard has been rebuilt, or where if this was the case.

I went on a small journey to all the items on the top post's list, and it was awesome. I got destroyed at the EVE Gate though...a damn Apotheosis too! I recorded just after I jumped, didn't know there was a time limit on the gate cloaking thing.

First: Don't travel in one of a kind ships, they'll get you killed. Second, yes, the EVE Gate is pretty. you can also approach it iirc, but eventually you (and your pod) will get destroyed by the energy the gate throws off... _________________________________________________________________ You just lost the game, my friend...
