Oh, fine. I'll play.
-2 Helios. That thing really needs to die. The awesome looking Covops with antennae but a weird slot layout was actually kinda cool. The ******ed looking Covops with the weird slot layout plus the introduction of a black Magnate is pretty much insult, injury, and death.
Oh, and +1 Phantasm. For being the best design in the game and actually performing on occasion.

how about putting a ranking next to the names on top 5 ships at the moment.
just as the dying after reaching zero adds some interest, which ships are top also would add further interest.
eg.

-1 to the Machariel (although effective, every pilot wants a nano-battleship... ghey... bs sized vagabonds is bad mkay)
-1 to the Vagabond. Although the ability to disengage at will [most of the time] is tactful... its lame. fight till the end! get a pilgrim =) win or die and have fun doing it!

+1 to the Nightmare for being a sexy beast even with all the rebalancing
-2 to the Naglfar for being a fail ship with mixed weapon hard points which is stupid IMHO, if your gonna have a ship for each weapon type then make a new dread for mixed weapon types (mixing turrets with missles) but don't make the only XL projectile boat a half this half that piece of crap that the bonuses don't make up for the fact that only 2 of the weapons are dealin out bonus dmg and missiles suck without bonuses so the two missile launchers don't make up for one lost turret
