Hello i am in my first month of the game so pretty basic things are still unknown to me.
I was told that if you are using T2 mining crystals they have different spin cycle times. is this correct and if it is can you provide a link on those times please. they added that the denser the roid the slower the spin cycle.
Not sure if they were playing with the noobie but i have to ask.
Many thanks for your valuable answers

That is untrue, all strip miners have the same cycle time, as do all mining lasers.
The only way that I know of to decrease cycle time is with someone in your fleet using mining foreman links. Usually this is done with a Orca or a Rorqual.
I would suggest you look around for a local mining fleet using an orca and ask them if you can join in on the fun so that you can benefit from the bonuses.

Cycle time should be the same. Only the amount of ore retrieved per cycle, should difer.
Like the other guy that replied, if you need the cycle time to go down, you need to be in a fleet with someone boosting you.

Mining lasers have a cycle time of 60 seconds.
Strip miners all have a cycle time of 180 seconds.
The only way to reduce the cycle time is, as stated, mining links through fleet bonuses.
Mining yield cn be increased through skills, mining links, using crystals in appropriate strips and mining upgrade moduals.
Roid density has no affect on anything, except on how long it takes you to mine it all away.
