For many years now POS has been in Eve, and changes to theese have only been moderate.
I think its time for a redo or a long needed review of this part of the game. First i think what is missing is more roles to be able to give corp members better usage of the assembly arrays, labs and other modules on the POS without them offlining towers.
One option is using Allow lists(like in channels) to give access to pos modules, a limit to 5 chars would give a corp the option to limit the access to assembly arrays to certain chars. Ofcause Roles should overrule this Allow list.
The other option is to create more POS roles to give better control over important modules and access to more simple modules.
I think this is needed instead of more features like "walk in stations" or Planets industry etc...dont you think CCP

More options would be nice. I don't like that i have access to offline the tower, just so i can get access to some hangars.

this is one feature that has been really lacking from corp's in general and not just pos systems.
There should be able to be individual roles of some sort assigned to individual hangers, pos modules etc... not to all corp assests as a whole. i.e. character X can access only a certain tab in a certain corp hanger, but cant access that tab in another corp hanger elsewhere. or, another example : i want X to have rights for starbase in Y system, but not starbase in Z system.
also agree that certain roles are too broad when trying to do something like allow "xyz wing" to control only 1 pos, or corp hanger or something, but not others.

This you can already kinda do, with the "based at" option. Don't know if it works for POSes... probably not.
PS, the inclusion of your additional example makes me believe you wanted "e.g" (exempli gratia, for example) instead of "i.e." (id est, that is).
